His man of the match performance at Leeds probably kept us up and it wasn’t a one off either.

Pears was superb last season and for most of this, but he’s not beyond criticism of course. John Butcher wasn’t great late 70’s early 80’s. But traditionally we’ve always been blessed with good keepers.

2 good games yesterday, although as Tyrone says, Scotland were by far the better side, but lost to a very lucky England. Wales finally put a performance together but still lost, which takes the losing streak to 15 games. Ireland looked like they took them lightly at times, but a very good game in the end.
