  1. Will the turnstiles be male and female?
  2. So little ol' Rovers aren't doing so bad then SG?
  3. Surely you could pick up one of those telephone boxes for less than £385? You don't see the police using them much these days? On attendances I feel Man Utd is the important game. We need to sell out, or close to, and stuff them and set the casual fan up for a season of decent displays.
  4. The first one 0026 is very blurred when it's blown up, impossible to tell who it is as the head is half turned away. The second is either Jay or Gally in my opinion
  5. Great link Tris. The strip looks wonderful, much better than i'd imagined. That's going to sell like hot cakes...........when it gets in the shop.
  6. de Pedro's sending off is all over the back of the LET. Don't know if the web page is up yet.
  7. I'll have text updates from our man in the stand....................or more likley on the ground by now
  8. I've just spent an hour or so replying to all the PMs and e-mails concerning funding the site, donations, standing orders etc. Lots of good ideas from many people. I've tried to cover every message received. If I haven't replied to anyone apologies and old age. Please send me your message again and I'll get back to you. The current plan is to put all the suggestions together. Glenn and Ste will be back in the coming week and we'll look at all the alternatives. Some ideas may go on the back burner, some may start immediatley, we shall look at it together. Thanks to all Paul PS Al's on a £1 a word in the Word Association Thread.
  9. 2 -0 Rovers Next game line up is; Brad, Douglas, Amo, Gray, Ferguson, Matteo, Emerton, Tugay, Stead, Dickov, de Pedro, Gally got the second goal
  10. The official site says 5.30pm UK time, I'm sure Germany is an hour ahead of us
  11. I can see a good discussion here - the continent is an hour ahead
  12. It's 5.30pm UK time so I presume 6.30 in Germany.
  13. A few members appear to be having difficulty accessing the site. This manifests itself in several ways. If you are having difficulty PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. To solve the problem please follow this: 1. Use the new web address http://65.19.129.20/~brfcs/mb/index.php 2. If the problem persists e-mail admin@brfcs.com with details of the problem or error message you are receiving. I will sort out your individual problem ASAP. In particular let me know your user name and if you have recently changed your e-mail address from the one used to first register with the MB. Many thanks Paul
  14. Sorry only just seen this. Go ahead but we will probably have to delete it more frequently than in the past. Capacity problems. If we run into difficulty it will be one of the first to go. Thanks for asking
  15. So we're all agreed it's Jordan's fault then? I don't think Tris is entirely serious with his post but I want to be absolutely clear it WAS NOT Jordan who phoned Radio Lancashire - I know who it was as I heard the broadcast and as far as I'm aware the individual is not a board member. Secondly Jordan did not post the player's name on here - I don't think he was actually capable of that after the game
  16. Equally the chances are that if the LET hadn't reported those remarks, which Souness must have made to their reporter, the whole thing would be dead and buried by now. Seems to me that if something is being stated that one doesn't want to draw attention to the best thing is simply to keep quiet about the subject.
  17. Since when has the Sunday People been the fount of all knowledge? £1 to a 1p Flitty stays at Ewood and another £1 to 1p we can't get rid of Dwight Yorke
  18. Loads of PMs from people over the weekend that I haven't time to reply to at the moment - going bike riding all day - I will be in touch over the next few days. Thanks for all the ideas, money etc. BTW - the badges were an important fund raiser. We made £200 - 250 profit. So thanks again to all. I have 20 badges available PM me if you'd like one. Minimum £3 plus P&P.
  19. Philly, if you're serious with that post, you're wrong. Nobody on the MB really knows who it is - if they did it would be splashed all over.
  20. I heard that as well on Five Live. The suggestion being that he enjoyed playing but wasn't interested in all the trappings around it. Might explain his lack of interest in helping the likes of Stead and Gally for another season. Anywayy looks like he's going and Rovers will be freeing up £3-4m from the wage bill. That has to be good either for the club's profitability and/or new signings. I'm not happy he's going but if he's fallen out with Souness and has no interest in helping Stead and Gally develop it will be for the best.
  21. I've been trying to PM everyone who has made a donation - the mass PM thingy doesn't seem to be working so aplogies to the member who may have received a lot of PMs this morning Anyway many thanks to all donors - by cheque, PayPal, Transfer and S/O, we seem to be heading towards the monthly target, I'll have a better idea in around 3-4 weeks when all the Standing orders show up on the bank statement. More news then. Paul next fund raiser is to buy this A Trialist bloke for Rovers
  22. I heard a fan called John Pittard? on Radio Lancs about 6.10 phoning rom germany - I didn't know about any mystery trialist till just now. The name he used sounded very like "Mounir el Hamdaoui"
  23. I'm off home now lads. If I get more updates I'll post them about 6.15pm or so.
  24. We have Steb on site, speaking into a tin can and a string back to a tin next to Paul's ear Which is why we need donations...................
