  17. To avoid a new thread I'll ask this in here, and i guess foodies like a decent drink as well. Has anyone heard of or tried this Godet Antartica Glace Icy Cognac I'm thinking of making this my Christmas treat
  18. Watched Sarah's Key last night and thought it excellent
  19. You'll find plenty of RVI fans on here RB
  20. Tris didn't realise where you meant when we were chatting earlier this week. Stopprd there two or three years ago. You're quite right, really good. There are many superb, very good value eating places in Scotland.
  21. Colin I'm probably teaching you to suck eggs here but have you checked the recommended pressure? My tyres are designed to run at 100ppsi or more. On the tyre side wall there should be a range of pressures from low to high that Schwalbe recommend. If you can't inflate above 85 it's probably the maximum the tyre can take. Don't forget your car tyres are an entirely different design
  22. Kean was here though. If Stevie boy gets sacked who would step up? I don't know. The youth coach?
  23. It's only just struck me but the dismissal of JJ is very bad news. My feeling now is no matter how poor the performance / result today or the crowd reaction to Kean and the owners nothing will change. The simple truth appears to be if Kean is sacked there is no one available to step in and take charge. The Raos will not allow the team to travel to Pune without a manager, equally they are unlikely to appoint a new man prior to the trip as this would lead to a lot of press coverage and questions. I very much doubt Kean will leave before the QPR game unless a new man has been lined up. TBH I don't believe the Raos have the ability to do that. Kean is staying.
  24. I fully agree. MON is an intelligent, articulate individual who gains respect from others. He is the type we need, there are a number out there, but anyone with those attributes is very, very unlikely to risk exposing themselves to the Rao family.
  25. With the exception of O'Neil no exciting names mentioned so far. I can't imagine MON arriving at Ewood as the man is far too intelligent to put up with the Rao family - or they would need to have a complete change of attitude? People don't change their basic culture overnight. Who would be daft enough to work at Ewood? More likely who is desperate enough to work for the Raos and Kean?
