If you think these people (Venkys, Suhail, Waggott) have any interest in the betterment of this club I’m really sorry to say they’re abusing you. They’re abusing the good nature, passion and commitment of the fans. They’re abusing the hard work of the manager and players. The ground has been abused. The training ground has been abused. The squad has been abused. At this point I genuinely consider it mental abuse. It’s a disgrace and the sooner they’re called out on it the better.

Anyone with any optimism about this season, or any other, should be forced to watch this match on repeat until they understand what is happening here. This squad is stretched and desperate. We’re not going anywhere, ever, whilst Venkys are here. Venky’s have turned Rovers into PNE.

Totally understand the gamble on not spending to replace Baker and getting a cheap option in Forshaw. But that gamble could be season defining. Forshaw was a really good championship player, but he simply cannot keep up with play. Based on that performance his legs have gone completely. I’m really, really worried if we go into the next three games having to pick two from Buckley, Forshaw and JRC.

We won’t spend 2.5M. Thats what we are waiting for.

Buckley having 134 minutes this season and 500 odd minutes last season tells me one thing - neither JDT nor Eustace thought he was good enough. And I agree - in my opinion it looks like he can play, but only if it’s on his terms. If he isn’t allowed to stroll around and attempt to dictate play he’s in trouble. He can’t tackle, can’t beat the press, can’t shoot and doesn’t have an outstanding engine on him.

I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about at this point.

Because they sold the best player the club has ever produced, against his will, because they were under investigation for tax fraud and couldn’t fund the business they decided to buy and none of us asked for. So now they can fund us (allegedly), they should be giving us that money back to fund a promotion push which is ultimately the only way they will ever be able to recoup any of their losses - which, for the record, where entirely due to their own stupidity.

If the Wharton money was used to pay the running costs whilst Venkys couldn’t invest, now they can invest, they can put it back in.
