  1. A gentle reminder that last time Leonard was fit and starting regular he looked physically too weak to compete at this level.
  2. I’d agree, if he was winning the crosses we were putting in and creating opportunities. He’s not even doing that.
  3. Pears JRC Hyam Batth Bec Tronstad Travis Dolan Cantwell Sigurdsson Ohashi Won’t have many chances so I’ve gone for a striker that can actually finish.
  4. The majority of the league are flying or travelling first class on trains, meanwhile our boys are on a coach home and have a £10/head allowance at Knutsford services.
  5. Just on this, I notice the article says: You don't need to let us know, but don't let that stop you if you just want to drop by and say hello! For absolute clarity, please don't email me at admin@brfcs.com or even worse, message me on X. Yes I know the site is down. No I don't know when it will be back up. Thank you.
  6. If we didn't have morals we could make a killing by partnering with SkyBet and offering odds on how long this takes. I'll have £10 on "BRFCS isn't up before full-time on Saturday" please. Good luck Stu!
  7. I'd go Brittain over JRC if we're playing Gueye. Brittain's one of the few players that can whip a cross in. I'm still a little confused as to why we've signed a striker who's history shows isn't a great finisher but is great in the air and aren't slamming crosses into him at every opportunity.
  8. I’m not surprised at all, especially with Garrett who I think is miles off this level. Same applies for Markanday.
  9. My team would be: Pears Brittain Carter Batth Beck Travis Tronstad Dolan Cantwell Sigurdsson Ohashi Bench: Toth, Hyam, Pickering, JRC, Baker, Buckley, Hedges, Weimann, Gueye I’m not convinced at all about Gueye, think Dolan despite being extremely frustrating is ahead of Hedges and Weimann and think Sigurdsson is our best winger by quite a distance.
  10. Narrator: And in that moment, the addiction started and the torch was passed on…
  11. Why do you think so many adults are using young adult season tickets? 1) They’ve been able to get away with it without repercussions for so long 2) They can’t afford a full price adult season ticket 3) The club don’t offer a full price adult season ticket which represents value for money compared to the amount of games they can attend I’d wager it’s a very small minority doing it because they get some sort of thrill out of doing it. If the CEO priced adult tickets accordingly to the region, hadn’t allowed it to be the norm for years or offered a full price ticket at a reduced cost (eg a flexi ticket), again I’d bet a lot of fans would buy the right ticket. Like most things at this club it’s Waggott’s mess. He’s allowed it to get to the point where an external security firm needs to be hired (at what cost?) to ID 13,000 fans on the way into the stadium, making full price paying fees feel like they’ve done something wrong and causing delays.
  12. Like the rest of us he thinks Pears is shaky, Cantwell is wasted out wide, ACD should be playing ahead of Hedges and Gueye desperately needs a goal soon.
  13. You realise the rest of us can see all your posts, right? We all remember you saying season ticket prices were too high at the end of last season?
  14. Agreed, which is why being in a very privileged position and being only *checks Google maps* 27 minutes from Ewood, at best I’ll buy a match ticket (if I can’t find someone with a ST that is away…) rather than commit to a season ticket.
  15. You’re drinking the cool aid. Fans absolutely will commit if it’s a well priced season ticket, I know that because I am one!
  16. The two players are worlds apart, but if Gueye was Alan Shearer his hand would have been raised and he’d have ran the touchline taking in the applause. Dolan’s done an interview saying “Gueye has said I can have it”, if I was a manager that would ring alarm bells, your first choice striker should be claiming absolutely anything they can.
  17. 4,000 Adult ST sales is far too low and the reason for low sales is the atmosphere around the club during the key sales period alongside the high pricing within an economically deprived area. I can’t imagine changing my mind on that, but I’m all ears if someone wants to try.
  18. Just for the sake of harmony and clarification, there’s very limited ‘official’ responses from @We Are The Rovers on BRFCS. Their official comms come through their own internal emailing system and if you’re a member you should have access to that. Some of the WATR board members use BRFCS for personal opinion and discussion, but for clarity the idea of this thread isn’t for them to host a Q&A.
  19. Well done to the club for bringing Suhail to the meeting. If he's in charge they can't keep him hidden away, so its good to see he attended and hopefully felt like it was worthwhile. The comments on STs are bonkers. In what world they thought the pricing they delivered would see an increase of 10% is a level of delusion that I cannot comprehend. Let's be clear, if the kids tickets weren't so cheap then the number of STs sold this season would have been catastrophic and thats simply down to poor pricing and a poor product. The club are responsible for the feelings within the fanbase and if they cannot see its a direct result of poor management and a lack of understanding of economics in the region then they deserve all they get.
  20. Sounds dreadful. I’m at the Spread Eagle at Mellor for 9am full English and ale, a short walk down for the 11:07 No59 bus and a ten minute walk to the stadium. Return trip £2, happy days.
  21. If I’m reading this correctly you’re suggesting he’d have been better staying here? Which would see him: extremely less wealthy, extremely less experienced and in a team with less chance of success?
  22. Agreed entirely. I can say with some confidence that if you ask BBD if he's made bad decisions or has any regrets RE transfers then the answer is a very assured no.
  23. Ohashi is a striker. Cantwell looks a long way off being match fit.
