Realistic thoughts on the future
chaddyrovers replied to Bbrovers2288's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
No I am NOT reverting to any type at all, but after this ownership I will be very cautious and watchful of any new owners without knowing who they are, what their plans are, are the funding the club, etc I HAVEN'T said anywhere we aren't attractive proposal for any potential buyer, but what I have said that any new owner has to be prepare to spend £30m plus in their first year including cover the debt, bringing in their own management team, new commercial strategy, plus many other things. I think we would be attractive proposal for UK potential buyers and American potential buyers but I will be cautious I know all that thanks, You should know that I know this given that I am massive Rovers fans but also massive football fan given my posting on this forum for many years -

Very few return after Kean left. When you aren't attending games, you find other things to do then you don't come back regular. Sad but truth. I know people who have walked away from Rovers and they aren't coming back at all. Falling out of love with Rovers, gone supporting another team or just got moved on with life started a family, etc -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
chaddyrovers replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We don't what assurances he has been given or what Eustace or JDT for certain. We see in the summer won't we. No one has said everything is rosy in the Garden have they? Nope. -

Is Toth good enough to be number 1 here next season? If not then we need a new number 1 and 2. -

Serious people? So who are these people? So where were all these people when we were in the PL and doing well? -
WATR said yesterday "We haven't received a response from the club. However, we didn’t expect the club to comment or acknowledge our statement because it was aimed at the owners. " so I take no meetings cos they would have to acknowledged the statement. What pressure on you putting on Venkys when they are India?

Nothing to do with me, but thats people opinion of Eustace leaving. That's their choice and opinion maybe show them some respect for them attending the game. -

Don't bother lecturing me ever. I haven't given up on the playoffs and if so don't bother replying to me again. Embarrassing? Tell that the fans who attend yesterday backing their club or fans who will be there on Saturday backing their club.. People spending their hard earned cash on their club,.backing the team -

Venky’s & Waggott Out Protest Ideas

How many fans protested? Plus why about the Glazers out when its Ratcliffe running the club? Also not everyone was a big fan of JDT or Eustace either within the fan base. -

Who has said everything is rosy in the garden? No one at all including myself. All I did was post what Ismael's answer to a question he was asked at his first press conference. That's it FFS but yet again the squad is out in force again and again. Yes we all know what we think they were assurances. I would enjoyed asking Waggott or Gestede awhy Eustace wanted to move to Derby and what assurances if any broken to him. But They arent doing interviews currently. Do we need to mention it everyday? Probably not cos we all know -

From what I have seen from Toth, I'm not convinced he is the answer tbh. A new number 1 keeper should have signed last summer -

No its was wrong and his comments were wrong. If you disagree fine but don't keep going on about. The fans message yesterday to him was clearly and maybe you disagree but fans I have spoken at games feel very similar to myself. Are we wrong and your opinion is right? You enjoyed using you are patronising against me. FFS grow up. I have given my opinions on the game, tactics, my view on the goals conceded or what we didn't do enough off like get Brittain and Ribeiro further forward and putting crosses into the box for Gueye and Ohashi yet both were too deep and scared of crossing the ball. Is that comment wrong. Please enlighten me if that is wrong comment? -

Well that's where we have to disagree given what we know now about Eustace and what was going on with him. Ismael hasn't come in and said or done a number of things that previous head coach did. Yes he has comments how great the fans were and yesterday we were fantastic. Of course Ismael can be criticise when deserved but some of it is bang out of order. We lost yesterday on not being able to defend 2 very simple balls into our box and our keeper flapping like a bird. Plus not putting enough crosses into the box. Is any of my comments above wrong? is Ismael More BS as ever from yourself. You might not have a problem but plenty of fans do as we witness yesterday and the home game against Plymouth Carter and Hyam couldn't deal with their front 2, its clear they were struggling. How did you not see that? Options were limited? really? Could have brought on JRC or ACD or more Brittain to right wing and Carter to right back. The options weren't limited at all. Sanderson helps alot defensively and settled us down as Hyam and Carter were all over the place, could you not see that? never ideal having we 3 right footed but Derby had a left foot at right centre back and never once did we exploit that. Ribeiro kept drifted away from the left making the pitch smaller which didn't help one bit -

he changed formation cos Karbgo had to go off injured and changing formation actually made us better to a point Judging from his comments post games he wanted us to crosses the ball more and Brittain and Ribeiro didn't do it enough. -

Just like a number of previous head coaches and managers we had including Souness, Allardyce, Mowbray, JDT, Eustace. Does that make all these cheap appointments. Cooper, O'Neil and Edwards were never coming here lets be realistic about it. They are still being paid the wages from their clubs where they were being previously employed by. So why would they drop that wage to come here. Clubs don't want to pay off their previous employed head coach if they can get another job. ok right It was in the penalty box and deffo a foul. I said it was at the penalty given it was in front of me and I have watched the incident back several times Yes I know you did but I think it is way to early to suggest some of the things you and others have. agreed on the last point but when players can't defend 2 simple balls into the box and Pears flaps like a bird what can you do. not at all, just still disappointed at yesterday result and performance overall when you can defend 2 very simple balls into the ball but also the lack of crosses into the box for Ohashi and Gueye. very correct and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and you working -
