  1. Look at wording of my post and its show with the above comment you haven't read properly and just jump in head first. always am. I'm going so lets hope I can be good luck for the team are you leading the chant tomorrow then at Pride Park?
  2. The first January 2023, we had Undav in for talks who I believe would be the missing link between promotion and not/playoffs place. He decided not to come but we had no back up plan as GB admitted in his post transfer window update. in January 2024, we were 17th in the league and the start of the window and badly out of form, team morale not good and head coach who didn't want to be able and was lining up the Swedish national team job.
  3. No I have accept that we are moving forward and times are moving away from traditional 3pm kick offs. I started following Rovers in 1991/2 season and the year after the PL started and we witness live football games on Sky and more than 30 years since we see football grow and the English football brand around the league where we have the best league in the world. We seen in La Liga where the games are spread over 4 days where its 1 game on Friday and Monday, 4 games on Saturday and Sunday for the TV coverage. We have been given plenty of notice and I'm not bothered myself about kick off cos it not an issue for me at all So maybe it such a problem then stop watching live TV games and take a stand but you won't will you. or maybe we need move the modern times The Premier League TV deal is very different to the EFL and shouldn't be compare. The PL TV rights are sold off in different blocks and different time slots. Plus I don't see why you are bringing them into this discussed. Its been like that for years and it works. Plus its a global brand and appeals to range of overseas market. We have the best top league in the worlld So back to the EFL rights, the games are mainly in 3 blocks for weekends games with Friday night game, Saturday dinner time and the Sunday dinner/Monday night. isn't 4 weeks notice decided well in advance?
  4. Couldn't agree more. All European competitions need to be knock out competition from the start, But I don't watch it anyway tho
  5. Looking forward to this game. I think we will win. Going 3 nil with Gueye scoring 2 and Ohashi my team based on the team news and Ismael's comments pre match Pears Brittain Carter Hyam Ribeiro Travis Tronstad Dolan Ohashi Karbgo Gueye
  6. wasn't their internal investigate into everything, with Broughton and Silvester leaving plus a number of our scouting staff leaving
  7. I think during the back end of January transfer window 2024, I think you witness Waggott and Pasha lose faith in JDT and GB, and witness them line up Eustace to take over.
  8. Didn't GB say they were in talks with Dolan and he been offered a new deal FFP is a thing in the football, why do you think Boro sold Latte last window. Rovers have make enough sales and received enough income to past this away for at least 2-4 seasons. finally asked questions, scrutinise, criticise and blame to who? meetings with Rovers management? or just on social media. We don't hear from Waggott or Pasha or even Gestede anymore. I'm surprised Gestede hasn't done a Transfer window interview or even an interview on why Ismael was picked as the head coach. Other than meetings from Fans Forum and WATR that it from them I'm waiting to renew now
  9. I have worked at 2 companies in 20 years where you get an very discount incentive on food. I got a full England breakfast plus toast and Juice for like 3 pounds and Dinners like Burger and chips or Steak Pie, chips and Pea for £2. United could have done similar here
  10. Dan Ashworth attended a few Rovers home games watching him
  11. agreed I understand now the problems but I won't be using public transport as it unreliable but I also like to stop off for a meal on the way back like tomorrow game or if it London away game I would stay over for the weekend and make the most of it for example Yes I noticed for ITV to cover the live aswell Sky
  12. it was the clubs who wanted this and wanted more money from the tv rights. What don't you get? is 4 weeks that late? EFL and Sky agreed to give fans as much notice as possible and that what they have done all season FFS, you been told and told the answer so many times but still going on and on. If you wanted more TV revenue for all clubs then all 3 leagues need to be on TV given that some increased revenue for clubs in league 2. more choice for fans. interesting that you have no problem with the PL showing a number of games at the same time or the Champions League showing multiple games at the same time, but you never complained about that tho did you?
  13. Its the clubs who wanted more money from Tv rights. I did mentioned previous that Club should used the money to reduce season tickets and match day prices. You are correct I don't many away games due to my missus current health problems but hopefully that will be all sorted by the summer, so I can hopefully attend more but I am going Derby Tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. I have plenty of sympathy for away fans who have to set off early but maybe away clubs could offer discount travel or free voucher for food and drink at the ground. Its the clubs and EFL who run the show cos they wanted more income from Tv rights
  14. I will tell you after the game. I will imagine he will get a fair amount of stick tbh
  15. We agreed 2 weeks on this and we should be in talks with Hyam, Brittain, Tronstad and Travis. I expect Dolan to move on now, Hedges will probably stay FFP can't blame here for not renewing our contracts. Can wages wanted by the player and what Rovers offer be a problem and yes I wouldn't be over paying for squad players. Rothwell was specific case yet you still can't accept it FFS when all the evidence was there. how are you going to hold Rovers accountable then and behave accordingly? Can I ask are you a season ticket holder currently? It was someone I mentioned straight away for the job, so of course I am happy with this appointment
  16. not interested in Eustace, its about backing the players and Ismael tomorrow
  17. Its a myth that every head coach has their own complete staff, Ismael has always had his number 2 and sometimes his own first team but also worked with the exist staff already there.
  18. You were all told how the TV rights would work before the season started and how much you noticed you would get before the season. Sky Sports+ Q&A - The English Football League TV Game Selection Process - The English Football League
  19. Midweek games or Friday night games have affected me for the last 5 years with me working nights and having to lose 3 hours sleep to attend the game and still go to work afterwards, But would I chose to attend games and its my choice. I could miss the games but that would just pissed me off. I take from your comments you have never done a night shift? backed myself so far into a corner? totally baffling comments. Annoyed at who? The facts of the situation is the EFL and the clubs wanted greater revenue from TV rights and the only way that could be achieve is more games on TV and. The terms of how fans would be told was clearly announce and publish before the season. So fans knew where they stood regarding moving of games for TV coverage. You loved blaming Sky, when actually it the clubs and the EFL you should be blaming not Sky
  20. off course it relevant cos the number of poor signings they made under Ten Hag and they over paid for signings like Anthony and Casemiro, Onana, Martinez, etc. Its a mess and now good hard working people on the non playing staff are now losing their jobs. It was poor signing to make and then factoring in the wages and length of contract, what were they actually thinking to be honest.
  21. Ismael's comments on Dennis in yesterday's press conference "It's a pity because I found since I came that Dennis looks sharper than I saw him last year at Watford," Ismael said. "More focus, really sharp in shape, positive. But the good thing is it's only one game and three days later we have another game. "At some point, he has a point to prove. When you are in a club and every year you are on loan here, on loan there, at some point, you just want to settle and to find your home. And for yourself as well to prove that you are able to compete at any level. "I think that Dennis is at that crossroads for him now. I think that he feels himself well with us. Hopefully, in the last ten games for him, he will be able to show his quality. "I know that he is able to score goals and he will be able to help the team."
  22. Get rid Casemiro would saved 380k a week. They are losing money cos their recruitment has been dogshit and they have overpaid for players and wages. Plus having no proper football management plan. Plus Champions league football. The football side has let the non football staff down. Giving staff a warm meal should be a given tbh for a club of that size. If I was a local food business I would be opening a butty van or shop or cafe near to old Trafford and selling warm food to those employees. A million pounds saving is 2 and half weeks wages for Casemiro. Is that really right? Ratcliffe cutting this is just plain wrong, simple as! It's pocket change at the end of the day
  23. Given I work in Preston and my shift has a few PNE fans it was shit last season when we lost at Ewood Park on a Friday night and it was shit going in, but superb this season when we beat them. Great shift
  24. It's not about whether they cope or not, but these cutbacks are minimum compare to the piss poor decisions to give Ten Hag a new contract or signed Casemiro or hired and firing Ashworth. Not given staff a warm lunch is indefensible for me. Ratcliffe has wasted so much money on his own poor decisions.
