Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
chaddyrovers replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We agreed 2 weeks on this and we should be in talks with Hyam, Brittain, Tronstad and Travis. I expect Dolan to move on now, Hedges will probably stay FFP can't blame here for not renewing our contracts. Can wages wanted by the player and what Rovers offer be a problem and yes I wouldn't be over paying for squad players. Rothwell was specific case yet you still can't accept it FFS when all the evidence was there. how are you going to hold Rovers accountable then and behave accordingly? Can I ask are you a season ticket holder currently? It was someone I mentioned straight away for the job, so of course I am happy with this appointment -

Its a myth that every head coach has their own complete staff, Ismael has always had his number 2 and sometimes his own first team but also worked with the exist staff already there. -

You were all told how the TV rights would work before the season started and how much you noticed you would get before the season. Sky Sports+ Q&A - The English Football League TV Game Selection Process - The English Football League -

Midweek games or Friday night games have affected me for the last 5 years with me working nights and having to lose 3 hours sleep to attend the game and still go to work afterwards, But would I chose to attend games and its my choice. I could miss the games but that would just pissed me off. I take from your comments you have never done a night shift? backed myself so far into a corner? totally baffling comments. Annoyed at who? The facts of the situation is the EFL and the clubs wanted greater revenue from TV rights and the only way that could be achieve is more games on TV and. The terms of how fans would be told was clearly announce and publish before the season. So fans knew where they stood regarding moving of games for TV coverage. You loved blaming Sky, when actually it the clubs and the EFL you should be blaming not Sky -
off course it relevant cos the number of poor signings they made under Ten Hag and they over paid for signings like Anthony and Casemiro, Onana, Martinez, etc. Its a mess and now good hard working people on the non playing staff are now losing their jobs. It was poor signing to make and then factoring in the wages and length of contract, what were they actually thinking to be honest.

Ismael's comments on Dennis in yesterday's press conference "It's a pity because I found since I came that Dennis looks sharper than I saw him last year at Watford," Ismael said. "More focus, really sharp in shape, positive. But the good thing is it's only one game and three days later we have another game. "At some point, he has a point to prove. When you are in a club and every year you are on loan here, on loan there, at some point, you just want to settle and to find your home. And for yourself as well to prove that you are able to compete at any level. "I think that Dennis is at that crossroads for him now. I think that he feels himself well with us. Hopefully, in the last ten games for him, he will be able to show his quality. "I know that he is able to score goals and he will be able to help the team." -
Get rid Casemiro would saved 380k a week. They are losing money cos their recruitment has been dogshit and they have overpaid for players and wages. Plus having no proper football management plan. Plus Champions league football. The football side has let the non football staff down. Giving staff a warm meal should be a given tbh for a club of that size. If I was a local food business I would be opening a butty van or shop or cafe near to old Trafford and selling warm food to those employees. A million pounds saving is 2 and half weeks wages for Casemiro. Is that really right? Ratcliffe cutting this is just plain wrong, simple as! It's pocket change at the end of the day

Given I work in Preston and my shift has a few PNE fans it was shit last season when we lost at Ewood Park on a Friday night and it was shit going in, but superb this season when we beat them. Great shift -
It's not about whether they cope or not, but these cutbacks are minimum compare to the piss poor decisions to give Ten Hag a new contract or signed Casemiro or hired and firing Ashworth. Not given staff a warm lunch is indefensible for me. Ratcliffe has wasted so much money on his own poor decisions.

Not at all, but each person will have different situations depending on their circumstances. Each to their own. -

It will be 4 weeks notice at this stage of the season as we all knew at the start the season -
It should be the box above. Of course it's Waggott. Why would the other 2 take money out in UK Pension contributions? Not a clue who either are or whether they have been to Ewood Park in recent times. Mahesh Gupta hasn't been a director here since 10th July 2012 https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/Fl8jwAKhLtt3TlQcE7rGoKTMf7Q/appointments Gandhi Babu hasGandhi Babu has been here since day 1 of Venkys buying the club. Maybe we should maybe not. only Palace was interested and signed him, We will get another 5-10 mil with the sell on clause Rovers need the money from his sale to fund the club losses that season and this one

You seem to want to apply unconventional principles to the situation instead of accepting the Rothwell situation and other footballers situation who don't want to move their family espically when family are settled in the area they, in school and the footballer/head coach moves away and travelled when they can in JDT/Eustace or Mowbray. More Bullshit, I have already commented on the Rovers contract situation this season and we need to sort it out one way or other. you agree with my opinion. Its not so surprised the lengths you go to about Rothwell situation is utter bizarre We all the problems behind the scenes and the lack of reinvestment but we have a good shot of the playoffs this season. I am happy with the Ismael appointment, I wonder if you are tho? or does it not matter ? -

You don't truly know, cos as per usual with yourself, you are making out there is problem when there isn't one. Lowe, Johnson and Benson have been here under 4 head coaches. Maybe cos there are decent enough coaches and Yes sacked by WBA when 5th in the league and 9th with Watford, hardly bad is it. Maybe these clubs need some patience and stop sacking managers. -

They met early in his Oxford days by the looks of it, given he is playing at Leeds without his family with him and still based in the south tell you the situation currently, So f you suggest its a myth why is he living in Leeds on his own away from his family. Your lack of understanding here is total shocking is it. would you just think of the money or would you want your missus and family to be happy where you live and be around friends that she has. Or put another way, would yourself moved to a different part of the country cos of a new job even tho your missus and family didn't want to move around their home, family and Friends. I wonder which one you would choose -
-
You just made my point there, Ratcliffe cuts are small change and The problem is the waste on transfers and paying over the top in wages on poor players. sacking staff members who have been there over 30 years say everything that situation. Deffo, JDT never got the best out of him and McKenna did

lets get back reality instead of these stupid scenario that people like yourself come up with., it is clear Rothwell's family wanted to move back down South and that what happened. Joe Rothwell made the difficult decision to go to Leeds this season and leave his own missus and Children down South. Tough decision for anyone to make and he deserved respect for it cos I wouldn't have done it.
