  1. Lets hope this is sort by this week with the appointment of the Head coach and some new staff members aswell Looks like Farke won't be coming here. So I am expecting Jonathon Woodgate with Robbie Keane to be appoint head coach and assistant head coach here. But can we expect a surprise appointment by Waggott and Rovers.
  2. Lets hope England can get early wickets and make the new ball count. Going to a very good day of cricket hopefully for England
  3. Read an article about Les Ferdinand who was explaining how they appointed Michael Beale. He said they spoken to over 20 people about the vacancy there and any appointment need a backing in development. Ferdinand details head coach recruitment process (qpr.co.uk)
  4. Mitchell and Blundell played very well on a flat pitch which is doing nothing at all. Not spinning either. England bowlers kept going. Thought Matt Parkinson done well on a pitch showing no sign of spin. The game is very much in the balance for me and England have a new ball after 1 over of play tomorrow. Day 3 looks like another batting day Stokes had 6 man on the leg side.
  5. The pitch has gone very flat now. I'm surprised Matt Parkinson hasn't bowled more. Stokes's tactic of trying to bounce them out isn't working. Pitch too flat for that. I would rather try bowling at the wickets with a 5/4 field and with short extra cover and short mid wicket in place with a slip in place
  6. If the rumour is correct about Ainsworth then we are still interviewing candidates according to other sources.
  7. maybe the people interviewing don't hold the same opinion as we do. He wouldn't be the worst choice we could appoint but he isn't a choice to take us to that next level. Cos that what the next head coach needs to do. Maybe Woodgate might be able to take us promotion. who knows. There is nothing wrong with interviewing a number of candidates and then pick the right one.
  8. Matt Parkinson now bowling. good first over
  9. But did better at Bournemouth with better players. Could he do good with our squad and improve on last season? that the real and proper question? probably not
  10. Waggott, Pasha, Cheston and Silvester all there Who knows what is going on. LT doesn't say he is deffo going. Says they are still in talks but he might be going elsewhere. Hedging his bets Sharpe there. here is the story for you to see what you think https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1131320758?-11198:839
  11. All depends on the reasons he left. maybe he doesn't want to be number 1 anymore and wants to go back to being a coach again or maybe he is unhappy the budget there for the coming season
  12. I already explained by the post you quoted. What more do you want?
  13. Its fair point but you still need to keep the scoreboard ticking over and can't just block after block. You have to look to score even off the great bowlers and I look at how we played Shane Warne in the 2005 series. he will take wickets whether you block or looking to score so you got to score when you can but we sensible in defending.
  14. Supposedly he is having talks with Borussia Monchengladbach Players returned for pre season training and fitness check on the 13th of June. Question is who is going to be doing the fitness and medical checks when we got no fitness coaches in the senior coaching staff setup and no head of medical services and 1 senior physio in the senior staff set up. Are we going to using academy staff to be doing these like like the academy head of sport science and medicine Russ Wrigley
  15. He won 13 games out of 23 games there and got them a playoff place
  16. I think he would be interviewed by Waggott and Pasha given his championship experience and the job he did at Bournemouth
  17. Fulham have made Josh Onomah available. I think he would be good signing for us for the Centre midfield spot
  18. Kevin Pietersen just now on Sky Sports is giving his opinion on Crawley and other batsman. He says there is nothing actually wrong with Crawley but its more about mental and picking the right ball or right bowler to attack. Kevin Pietersen says he thinks Alex Lees doesn't know where his off stump is. That why he was taking off stump guard
  19. It was brilliant to watch and we can deffo put on a show on in this great country.
  20. where has he been linked? He is the New York City head coach. Here is his profile. He has managed Celtic and has won trophies in Norway and Celtic New York City FC (nycfc.com) Makes we wonder if we are bringing in Jason Wilcox as Sporting Director and he suggest Ronny Delia as head coach.
  21. Gerrard as 2 assistant head coaches working with in with them being Gary McAllister and Now Neil Critchley then they have Tom Culshaw has technical coach, Neil Cutler as GK coach, Austin Macphee as Set pieces coach then Aaron Danks as first team coach there. Training Ground Guru | Aston Villa staff profiles
  22. I read that and thought that. But the LT and Alan Nixon they want Championship experience. fake twitter account I would imagine that Gerrard put the call into Critchley a couple of days before Beale was announced to line up the deal for him to leave Blackpool for Villa. Strange move unless he wants to move to being just a firs team coach after his spell as head coach or maybe he was unhappy about the budget for the coming season and wants out.
