  1. Alan Nixon is reporting today that he will bring Adam Murray in at the end of the season to his coaching staff after he has finish at Eastbourne
  2. Have you read @unleaded;s comments that Park left cos of Eustace? I think Park along with Owen and Gestede was behind most of the summer signings. Gueye was probably Gestede, or Owen with Ohashi. Ribeiro has been very good since signing and Karbgo impressed today.
  3. Of course its all about the quality of the player not the priced we paid. Who says he didn't have final say on the shortlist present to him? or why didn't he trusted the recruitment team who have scouted players and done their research on them? minimal investment? Yes we haven't reinvested enough of the money we have received, but we have a good team that is challenging for playoff place. Have you read @unleaded's comments about Eustace and him slowly down signings during the January window and not some of the summer signings either? any comments?
  4. Won't him and Gunn know each other from the Scotland international squad great to hear that the players and staff are so welcoming and will stop for photos or signatures No one has said they fear Norwich have I? They have clear identity to their play and Saniz moves away from that left side.
  5. Cos we didn't wanted to leave us far too open but also if you want to high press you need players who can do it Cantwell and Gueye aren't right for it. Ohashi is The triple subs were need at this point cos Norwich were controlling the game in the second half until they came on and changed the game
  6. obsessing again, We are the playoff hut and been around top 6 despite not reinvesting much money, Yes we would have like more money and personally made different signings instead of some of the players we did sign. The signings made during this season have helped us get into this playoff hunt and we have 11 games left to achieve a playoff place. Eustace decided to move on and I wish him well(just not on Saturday 8th March), we must moved on and focus on the remaining part of the season and beyond under our new head coach Ismael
  7. But I did, Sausage, Beans and egg on toast, very enjoyable 😁🤔😂
  8. It felt so great scoring an equaliser in injury time, which I can't remember the less time we did that. No problem Tom, Very silly action by Hyam. Ohashi foul was a pen all day long. Its very tight but those decisions should go the attacking way We were never going to press too high and allow them the ability to attacking our back 4 with their quality they have and have open spaces. The subs on 60 mins was Tronstad needed to shone up the midfield with Travis, Dolan who was piss poor and Cantwell who faded and both needed replacing.
  9. So Rovers didn't make any signings during the last 2 transfer windows then? I missed have their impact made by signings we made by Gueye, Ohashi, Weimann, Batth, Ribeiro, Kargbo, etc. The problem we didn't reinvest enough of the sale money we received, different argument Rovers made signings during the 2 windows but Eustace didn't get some of his players targets for whatever reasons he wanted to sign during windows but he is the head coach at the end of the day. So no he wanted backed for his own players signings but Rovers have made several very good signings over the 2 windows which has helped us into the top 6 and challenge for playoffs. The head coach need to trust the recruitment department and lets them do the scouting and researching signings before they picked the first choice of a shortlist of 3-5 shortlist, cos Head coaches don't have time to do their own scouting of potential signings, they focus is training the team and winning on a match day Lets hope you aren't going Derby away
  10. I understand fine, but your case is specific set of circumstances involved including world politics, a war in Ukraine involved 2 countries, etc but Its very different Venkys owners and why they won't reinvest huge amount and using sale money to cover the club debt. I know the Chelsea and Roman case very well and the circumstances involved why he was forced to sell the club, the football authorities won't do that with Venkys
  11. I amended my post Tom, after seeing the link posted. For me, its a tight call and if the linesman isn't sure you can't give it and Its very tight and I think its just level
  12. what Elbow by Hyam? Dennis's first yellow a red? The Ohashi penalty incident, I thought it was clear pen first time given it straight in front me, I have seen the incident back also which also backed my view(through recording the game on Sky plus), plus Ismael's comments. The ref was utter dogshit, simple as. Ruined the game
  13. But as I said original it was unique circumstances and the situation with Roman and the politics situation. The Football authorities aren't going to forced Venkys sell it cos they weren't invest money into the club like we all want. That is what your post doesn't take into situation with the war and without getting too much into that money from the sale of Chelsea is still stuck in the bank and our situation with the Venkys which is utter and completely different
  14. Our goal wasn't offside, it was tight call having seen the goal backed from side on from recording the game Tom. most of the game with 10 men? I just seen it now via Wilsenden's post above, didn't see that incident given I sat in the BBE but I will concede, we got lucky there
  15. Do we? We made a number of quality signings during the summer that have help and ensure we fighting at the top end and a genuine chance of getting a playoff place, All depends what you called backing but has we have since we not millions and millions but we are fighting for playoffs places which very few people thought we would. Its all about the quality of the players
  16. feel like a good point post match with 10 men. neither did much to win the game and the ref wanted to be star of the show again(more on the ref later) First Half, Norwich created the best 2 chances but neither on target. Rovers best moments came through Karbgo, his pace and skills troubled them. Second Half, Norwich control for the first 15 mins and we struggled to get out at times. Ismael made 3 subs and we were better, then the 10 minutes before the Dennis sending off, we were the better chances. for me, the sending off is Chrisene kicking Dennis who had to go for the ball, otherwise your head coach would be going mental at him for ducking it. Norwich got the lead, then Rovers tried to get back the game when we should have a clear pen for the foul on Ohashi by Wright. Clear pen all day long. We finally got the goal we wanted from Weimann who is our fox in the box and good cross by Ribeiro Ismael made positive subs who made an impact on the game. Now on the referee performance who was bloody awful all game, favoured Norwich far too much, made the wrong decisions when he sent Dennis off, Missing the clear pen, Ohashi's foul on their player when it wasn't, etc. Its a good point after being one nil down and with 10 men, huge credit to Ismael and the players today. Karbgo my man of the match but Travis, Carter and Hyam good performance. Lets go and win at Derby now which I am looking forward to and attending it
  17. A very unique set of circumstances including world events and politics. The authorities won't do it cos Venkys aren't breaking any FA or EFL rules by not reinvesting too much of the money or spending their own money. Also lets see what the bill is actually when voting on by both set of houses and I don't want to discuss too much that side other than it was be very water down by them and not wanted to upset clubs, owners or Football authorities.
  18. What football authorities are going to be seen or what unseen irregularities? Also how do you forced owners of private owned business to sell?
  19. Ismael clearly has his own ideas how he plays to play here next season and beyond which is interesting. He also see it an opportunity to shape him own squad next season and beyond. I hope he is support in this
  20. It will be interesting to see what the starting line up is and what formation we play. Looking forward this afternoon game.. Speaks very well
  21. This is the team I think Ismael will pick Pears Brittain Carter Hyam Ribeiro Travis Buckley Dolan Cantwell Karbgo Gueye Subs:- Toth Sanderson JRC Tronstad Ohashi Dennis Woodrow Hedges Weimann Rovers to win 3-1 win with Gueye with 2 and Ohashi to score.
