I would play Rothwell on the left wing at Ipswich cutting in. Davenport has played well in pre season and its been impressive this season. McGoldrick injury record is poor would put managers off. I like up front or Wide. Has pace and as @roversfan99 pointed his goals against MK Dons sum up how we should play him in most goals. I understand that point but I feel they like Mowbray and will back him if it the right deal.

I do suggest different names who I feel Mowbray might want or be looking at. Plus who is might within our target 3 million for Armstrong. You would pay that over a couple of years anyway. You wouldnt pay it up front. And you really the LT would print something the club or Mowbray wouldnt want out there. Armstrong is a target.. Good fee for Ipswich.
