same as before. No change for me for the same reasons I have posted last week. Bristol City have made 31 million profit in the last 2 seasons. So even tho they are investing in the squad they are still selling key players like they did in the summer like Adam Webster and Lloyd Kelly plus Brownhill in January. I don't know you can say this with any certain since we dont know what the target was the from owner for this season? was it top half half or top 10 or top 6 finish? who knows what they set Mowbray.

well Bristol City in the last 2 seasons have made a 14 million pounds profit between buying players and selling players this season and the season before 17 million pounds profit. They sold Adam Webster last summer for 20 million to Brighton after buying him around 4 mil season before. Plymouth boss Ryan Lowe is the current favourite with the sky bet -
Eddie Niedzwiecki is Mark Bowen number 2. Kevin Hitchcock is goalkeeper coach at MLS team New England Revolution. Glyn Hodges is manager at AFC Wimbledon.

Wonder who next for Bristol City? Do they have someone line up for the job? yes resigned cos the players were not performing for him. Now he got to keep Boro up. can he do it? What would Gibson do if Boro do given his decisions he has made at the club over the last 18 months. -
Nuno got the Wolves job due to his agent. Stuart Webber who was sporting director at Huddersfield when he appointed Wagner then he walked out on them for Norwich where he appointed Farke. is Suhail even in the country? Considering we have the coronavirus pandamic

Leeds at Home 4.7.20

We should have scored at least 2 goals in the 1st half with Gallagher and Holtby chances and Armstrong free kick was class and no surprise at all. Walton had a shocker with 2 of today's goals. Even when we got the goal back we still couldn't defence properly. Disappointing result given the clear cut chances we had -

Wasn't Jones debut as he played against Forest in league cup earlier in the season -
Afraid of FFP? I dont think so but EFL clubs wanted these rules in. I wanted them scrap. How is Lamouchi high profile? Had you even heard of him before this season? We aren't going to agree on next manager appointment when it happens. You want Pulis or McCarthy type and I don't.

Havent clubs been place transfer embargo like Charlton in January? McCarthy's Ireland team havent even qualified for the Euros yet. Have 4 playoffs games to play yet? And didnt Ireland FA binned McCarthy for Stephen Kenny to take over? I wouldnt McCarthy here. You would. We ain't going to agree to lets just agree to disagree No one has said we should become a glorified academy to sell players to balance the books. But to bring through into the 1st team like Derby or Forest are doing.
-
Yes.
-
But Man City situation and wealth of the club. Plus when City have 2 ex Barca board members has CEO and Director of Football they were always going to have Pep Guardiola as manager..
-
When did either got a side promote from this league? About 2008? Pulis couldn't get Boro up in 18 months and Ipswich didnt under McCarthy. Johnson is the 1st team coach of this team. He is my 1st choice. You disagree with me just like I do with McCarthy and Pulis suggestions. Yesterday men for me. Bringing through our academy players is important part of any manager remit at this club with the amount of investment we are making every season. FFP rules are there. If people are right and we are close to the line then even more important to focus on bringing the youth more. FFP is a myth?
-
Why does it matter? Would McCarthy or Pulis do any better with our squad? I would say no. We need a Manager/head coach who will bring through our academy players into the 1st team more and more with our situation with FFP.

He done an excellent job at Wycombe. Thought he would have good choice after Lambert left. Wouldn't be my 1st choice but should be on any shortlist -
Werent good enough then and not good enough now Souness sold Taylor and Hughes sold Johansson

A very in depth article on Wigan situation https://theathletic.com/1907722/2020/07/04/wigan-athletic-royle-efl-paul-cook-hong-kong-yeung?source=user-shared-article -
Never good enough.

Frank was Brentford 1st coach when Smith move on to Villa. Heckingbottom got them up at the end of the day not Johnson who walk away
-
Thomas Frank at Brentford. Also Paul Heckingbottom at Barnsley. Got them promoted then keep them up Also look at Brendan Rodgers who was a coach at Chelsea and he had a good career managing 6 different clubs including Liverpool and Celtic. So coaches who work they way up can be successful
