  1. I'm not interested whether we been in or not top 6 so far. As long as we by end of the Luton away game! Sheff Wed were top 6 not long ago. now nowhere near. Yes you are very correct that progress is being made through playing less direct and more short passing, movement and flexible. Some good youngsters coming through and the club is in better shape now. I've heard people within Ewood Park saying those things Mikey has reported. And Mikey must have seen them on different media sites. But you need to ask Mikey on twitter and let him share them with yourself Bravo Matty. are we 17th? nope. we are 8th and good chance of making the playoffs? Correct. Team going in the right direction
  2. sadly not Matty. would take alot more than those comments. Made of thick skin I've always appreciated the job he did in every season he been here. Back him after we got relegation which I blame Coyle for that. He got us promotion from League 1 even those some posters on here wanted rid of him after 10 games cos we weren't where people thought we should be. Back him last season when he got his contract extension when others didn't. Yes when we were 17th in league this season I felt a change was needed but he turn around results and has us 3 points of playoffs. We are 8th in the league now.
  3. It's a fair point JHRover. West Brom and Leeds in poor form, Bristol City not in good form. Brentford away is a very tough fixture but one where I feel we can win it
  4. Under 18's playing at Ewood Park tomorrow night against Preston under 18's
  5. You like digging don't you Matty recently. You like and other posters like posting this rubbish but I'm always explained why I changed my view. At least it gives you something to moan at certain posters at Mikey does have a point tbf. plenty on here disagree with Mowbray. You said we wouldn't stand any chance or challenge for playoffs without Dack whilst I disagree cos we could move Armstrong up front and use his pace and movement more centre plus his finishing attitude. Now we are 8th in the league.
  6. Different strikers score different types of goalss. Less offsides than Grabban and Watkins this season. His game is about pace and movement. We are moving away from being more direct style like with Graham/Dack partnership. Playing a more short passing, movement, quicker game style
  7. That's where the LT gets the story. Armstrong is having a good season. He's only 23 years old. Rovers need to offer him new 5 years contract.
  8. I will agree that Samuel will be like a new signing. He looks a different player now
  9. I agree he is the best finisher and I would play up front where he will score goals and can use his pace and movement to most effect The Article says PL clubs were interested in him in the January
  10. Premier League clubs looking at Armstrong https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18239309.top-flight-clubs-taking-interest-rovers-attacker/?ref=nuo Time we gave him a new 5 years contract.
  11. Armstrong up front every time for me. Has pace, finishing ability and movement. Wrong comment imo.
  12. Armstrong for me. 10 goals and 7 assists. Link with Premier league teams now
  13. The stats would say otherwise. We look very balance against Charlton and the freedom and movement of Armstrong, Downing and Samuel was excellent. Wasnt until Graham and Bennett went off against Hull we look balance as a team
  14. Depends who is contacts within the club staff. I know who some are. But he never said he's in with Mowbray and Waggott tho.
  15. His posts after meeting were good and to the point
  16. As Paul Mani has said he knows staff on the coaching staff, plus staff at the club also. No one has been patronising tho.
  17. We are playing less long balls now than ever. Less Direct now with Graham seen as back up option. We have more movement and flexibility than last season where at time we were too rigid.
  18. Yes we do have a year option in the club favour. He has 18 months left on his contract but club got a 12 months option to extend his contract. Exactly. Big mates.
  19. I arrive early 2pm in the stadium. But I don't listen the music just talk to the people I go with.
  20. Most people don't have 100 pounds but I'm not sure if you set direct debit up to pay 2 or 3 months. I don't know. Maybe last game against Reading
  21. Signing Armstrong for 1.8.mil(3 mil including adds on) was a bargain. Signing Downing was a masterstroke. Bringing in Adarabioyo and Walton on loan have proven good signings. The improvement of Travis, Lenihan and Nyambe is down to Mowbray and his staff. Then Buckley and Rankin Costello coming there. Samuel looks a different player last 2 games. All this whilst with Dack injured long term, Holtby injured for season, Cunningham injured. Sent back now. Rothwell coming back now after a couple of weeks injured. Could Rothwell coming back be the player to push us to top 6?
  22. If they fancy it? A good chance of playoffs. The 6 game offer is a good offer. 5 out of 6 games are 3pm kick off time. A big plus for certain fans who play football Saturday morning don't have rush around to get a game. Waggott explained the process of ticket offers at Supporter consultation meeting. He has targets to meet in terms of revenue and offers have to be sign off.
  23. with us being so close to the playoffs now, fans need to show their support. I think @SIMON GARNERS 194's idea is a good one but Rovers wont want to devalued their new 6 games offer which is good offer also considering who we are playing and our current league position
