  1. Players are saleable if managers and clubs want them. Every players have a price
  2. Sure? You deffo complain about his signing whilst I said lets give a chance 1st. Have I said you to agree with every signing?
  3. I would take Lansbury and Hogan here for sure. We should Hogan before he went to Brentford.
  4. Most players have injuries. Even Dack do. Didnt you write off Smallwood last summer instead of judging him in Rovers shirt were he had a good season
  5. Hogan, Lansbury, Kodija, Taylor. Why would Big Sam take over at Villa when they no money to spend, having to develop youth players and club going one way. Down.. Not perfect for Sam. From his comments in the past year sounds fed up keep doing the same job time after time. Probably why the Everton appeal to him, challenge for top 6 this season but was sacked recently
  6. Rothwell more of a deep midfield playmaker from what I read on social media
  7. The situation at Villa sounds really bad. CEO suspended, looking like they need to raise between 40 to 70 million pounds in players sales to meet FFP rules. Will Bruce be staying if they are massive cutbacks? Expect him to walk away. Then what next? Any good manager wont go there. Wouldnt surprise if someone like Kevin McDonald was appointed. Think he still there as head of development. So someone who would play the youth. Seems that going to Villa way bring through the youth cos any players worth money will be sold. No loans players will be coming back next season. What the hell has gone on Villa within the last 2 seasons and since this new owner came in.
  8. Possible bid for Edwards from us to Posh https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/posh/latest-news-peterborough-united-accept-a-million-pound-bid-for-a-league-one-player-1-8521672 From the link below The only other Posh players who would realistically command a seven-figure fee are midfielder Gwion Edwards and possibly centre-back Ryan Tafazolli. The Peterborough Telegraph did field a call from a representative of the Blackburn media regarding Edwards. Edwards, who is entering the last year of his Posh contract, was outstanding in both games against Blackburn last season and the promoted Lancastrians have money to spend as they prepare for life in the Championship. I dont know how truth it is but just found so thought I post it anyway
  9. Villa takeover latest https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/truth-behind-aston-villa-takeover-14740970
  10. Joe Rothwell possible Rovers target. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16268950.Joe_Rothwell_among_the_deals_Rovers_could_revisit_this_summer/?ref=mac
  11. Blackburn Rovers interested in Shamrock Rovers striker Graham Burke https://m.independent.ie/sport/soccer/league-of-ireland/championship-clubs-to-step-up-interest-in-shamrock-rovers-hotshot-graham-burke-36973977.html
  12. We dont know what offers have been made to any players do we? Mowbray keeps it out of media and doesnt link owt.
  13. The LT also said they no plans to appoint a CEO. then week or 2 later Steve Waggott was appointed.
  14. Hopefully with us Mulgrew at Rovers will help him decide to come here. With both players being away with Scotland together, hopefully Mulgrew has sold the club and Mowbray
  15. Villa owner ready to sell new owners who Paul Senior is part of this group https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/6441572/consortium-set-to-launch-aston-villa-takeover-with-dr-tony-xia-ready-to-sell-after-failing-to-get-promotion/
  16. Yes it did Stuart. We are now engaged. Very happy and great weekend there. Nothing is going kill my mood today
  17. Sorry Stuart but you are wrong. I gave Coyle a chance to prove me wrong but he didnt. I was never a fan of him. One of the worst appointment in Rovers history. Yes I gave him some praise in some games when it was deserved but plenty cricticism when it was deserved. About 20 people.
  18. thanks for the report as I haven't seen the game as I was away in Edinburgh for weekend. very much appreciative from me.
  19. Hindsight is such a wonderful thing isn't it? Coyle was a bad appointment as most Rovers fans knew he would be. Very poor manager. I have no idea what Jack or Blueboy say as I don't read their posts and are on the ignore list. on De Boer sacking, look at what was on behind the scenes there at Palace and the disagreements between him, Parish and the Players. I would suggest you look at what was reported at the time and why he was sacked and the reasons behind it. do you want some links to these reports? who keep appointing these managers at Leeds then a few months sacking them, surely it time they are sack??? Leeds have gone nowhere over the years but stayed mid table club apart from 1 season under Monk who decide to leave after finishing 7th. Sadly, you are wrong that If I was a Chairman I would look overseas as I would be looking British for sure. a lot of good young head coach/managers out there. Some deserve a chance at a higher level.
  20. Hibs midfielder ready to decide his future http://the72.co.uk/104270/blackburn-rovers-midfield-target-set-make-decision-future/
  21. But have you not seen His response to Bennett tweet instead? I would say Morsy is talking nonsense personally. No response from Armstrong to Morsy tweet but to Bennett
  22. 1st choice - Damien Johnson 2nd choice - Gareth Ainsworth 3rd choice - Simon Grayson 4th Choice - Paul Heckingbottom
  23. But Heckingbottom wasn't a poor choice tho. He done excellent at Barnsley. Watford and Chelsea might will have successful but look at other clubs who havent like Swansea, Leeds, Birmingham, etc. I believe in given a manager a proper chance and time. You appoint a manager for a reason so why backtrack so quickly. Unless it was a mess and you are in bottom 3 and manager who record is awful or things are well behind the scenes like De Boer at Palace or Coyle here or Coleman/Grayson at Sunderland. Leeds hire and fire policies over the last few years have achieve nothing but disappointment and failure to make the playoffs. I have nothing against foriegn managers at all but I prefer an British manager. I know if Mowbray was to leave tomorrow I know who my 3 choices shortlist would be. No foriegn manager would be on that list. Just for record I hope Mowbray doesnt anywhere for a number of years to come
