Summer Transfer Window 2019
chaddyrovers replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
didn't we look at him in the same summer as we bought Brereton instead? -
1. Anyone buying a season ticket and paying it monthly starting in June or July. So it not like you have to pay it all off at once. 4. Yes the one from Accy going from the Sydney street pub. I know a number of ppl who catch that one. Why does Blackburn Council not have interest in this when it would help bring in money into the area. Most of parking opposite the ground has gone now thanks to them 6. Not at all as some people are members of both. 8. Has it really? putting the younger fans next to the home dugout is a good idea. 10. Talking this season as I said to MattyBlue yesterday

Start of the season
chaddyrovers replied to Rochdale_rover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
last season is last season. Instead why you talk about this season and the fact that we have kept 4 clean sheets in last 5 games. instead of your cheap shots at Mowbray. We have made 3 signings in the defensive area in 2 defenders and keeper. Cunningham is a major plus at left, Walton has impressed and Tosin look better than Rodwell. -
wrong, I know of 2 people I work with who got a the super 6 offer last season and now gone to becoming season ticket holders this season. I will say that yes that they aren't going to thousands back and maybe a few fans back after a while

I was talking this season not last season Matty

very good signing

depend how much you spend in the shop. its over 33% off a new shirt. that's alot to some ppl. no response to my reply to your post
-
depends on the person in question. I think Season tickets are cheap in my opinion 15 pounds per game and Kids one are about 4 pounds per game in Blackburn End. Do you not agree that is cheap per game. I went to the cinema the other week and it cost me roughly 30 pounds for me and my step daughter. I have come up with few ideas to get fans back but you have disagree with everyone. You already get 5% off your season ticket through in terms of loyalty cash to spend in the Rovers store. which is the same amount as 5% of your season ticket if you sit in Blackburn End. Tho, I do agree on your ideas tbh

Great idea. Maybe even give shirts away to fans who the club visits in schools. My dad and mum bought a season ticket this season even tho they will only get to 5 or 6 games a season. Dad says it shows his support for club. He spend alot time away from the area now but still enjoy going to game. He passes his tickets to friends of his who go to games he doesn't. 1. Surely you know whether you will buy a season ticket whenever they go on sale. 4. Could Blackburn Rovers along with Blackburn and Darwen council not introduce a Bus ticket scheme where it like cheaper prices for season ticket holders 6. disagree on the abolish 1875 club. 7. very good idea 8. surely the family stand is much better next to the Rovers dugout and the players/managers for autography's and pictures with them 10. Rovers only move kick off times for Sky TV coverage. 14. With Rovers announce the prices of each game for the season before the season starts it allow some walk ons fans the choice of games they can attend and allow some fans to save up. 15. Surely this depends on who the freebies are for. if it is for schools then surely it good idea to get the into football and watching it from early age. Not every parent as time or the money for it.

That the best team for me if we playing 3 at the back which look solid last week in 1st half. Travis and Downing can get up and down the pitch.
-
My team Walton Adarabioyo Lenihan Williams Bennett Cunningham Travis Johnson Downing Dack Gallagher Subs:- Luetwiler Nyambe Evans Buckley Graham Rothwell Armstrong
-
does it matter?
-
with what ideas? what are your ideas to get fans that clearly don't want to could back by the sound of it? You are very happy to sticking for non attending fans but I've seen no suggestions from you to get fans back?
-
Look like Ashley Giles will interview Graham Ford, Chris Sliverwood, Mike Hession, Ottis Gibson and maybe Micky Arthur. Surprise Alec Stewart isnt linked to the job.
-
I thought 1st half performance defensively was good.
-
Was just about to post that. Dennis Bergkamp was the same. Just posted on instagram that he has landed in the UK.

We play the formation that suits us against the opposition and which one will causes the more problems
-
Yes but don't take stupid risks and Walton was spot on by doing what he did. You never give it time allow it to develop. You change things that need changing during the game. Taking Buckley off for Gallagher was right. We need another forward on. Players have a lack of understanding and inability for players to understand their roles? Well the players look to me that they know their roles and how to play the formation. Sheffield United took time to learn the system and how to play it. Didn't they lose their 1st 4 games of using the system?
-
I think your view is wrong we have for some games nearly 2 to 3k walk ons fans. So why are these fans chosen their games they go to? are they not interest in ST or can't afford it or family/work commitments don't allow it. Do you know any Rovers fans who don't attend for the reasons above? or other reasons 1864 roverite has posted above? Do you have any ideas to boost attendances that haven't already been posted?
-
Everyone does know the role in the team and how to play it. I disagree on a consistency of a formation as we have been adaptable and change formation in the game needs it Yes Walton was right to waive them away and not take a risk in conceded a goal like Arsenal did against Watford. Nyambe can play centre back and as part of back 3. I thought the back 3 worked very well in a defensive sense. Give it a chance instead of judging after 1 game. That's one of biggest problem is you are very quick to criticise and unwilling to give it proper chance like a run of games.
-
Rovers had worked on 3 at the back for 2 weeks prior to the game. I like the 3 at the back from a defensive point of view. It took Sheffield United weeks to get it right but they did. Rovers will switch formations week in week out depending on who we are playing, game situation and how the game is going. I dont see the players being confused by it either Never said Holtby was strength in depth signing. I said his signing would increase the squad quality..my strength in depth comment was about the overall strength in centre midfield Downing has been good in the majority of games.
-
Both proved how good they played last season.. 1. Right. Maybe look to sign him permanently.. 2. Agree depending who Mowbray wants 3. Cunningham deal might end up perm in summer 4. More than happy with Bennett at right back/wing back
-
Wasnt the player Williams or Lenihan. Who have keep 4 CLEAR SHEETS in last 5 games!
