Rice has been superb this season and has improved significant for England. I would say he's very good. Henderson is Henderson. A born leader. Phillips has done ok. Hes been a huge positive for Leeds. His passing is superb. I dont think Italys midfield for example is anything to write home about. Jorginho and veratti. Neither are that special. Portugal midfield isn't anything outstanding. Germany midfield is alot better than ours . So is france's. Dutch midfield is pretty good. Spanish midfield pretty good. My point is aside from France. No team stands out in midfield. That gives us some hope

Defence is pretty decent. I wouldn’t call rice philips Henderson Bellingham rank average. All pretty good or outstanding young players

Hes done a fine job so far. Hes got rid of the deadwood. Brought in youth. Hes got the second best win percentage of any England manager behind capello. Not including Allardyce. He just needs tactical help

Pickford has always been solid for England. Never made a mistake. Hes also played well for Everton lately. Stones has eradicated his mistakes mostly. We have pace at fullback to cover any defensive flaws

It was a warm up game. There were some good performances like saka grealish Bellingham. Sorry for trent but at least everyone else came out unscathed. We have 11 players to come back. Trippier has been phenomenal for atleti this season. He was in la liga team of the season. So I guess when u have 4 interchangeable fullbacks who are world class its hard. I don't think jwp is up to international football. I think Bellingham will start if Henderson isn't fit

The 4 rightbacks are more than that. They can play in a number of positions. Better to have versatility than a stagnant rigid squad of players. I think this is our most exciting squad in 20 years.
