  1. James crossing ability is hugely underrated. He can cross the ball as well as anyone. Just hasn't had the chance lately because hes being used more defensively. He has everything in his locker to be the best rightback in Europe in a couple of years
  2. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt????? No chance
  3. Grealish sancho Watkins would be excellent options off the bench
  4. Underdog v France. I fancy our chances against Germany and Portugal
  5. They should just cancel it. At least in Europe we have it under control. Sort of. Good idea spreading the tournament around Europe means that there's plenty of hosts
  6. Agree he switches off. He hasn't had too many bad games for city all season. Hes been a rock in most of them. I still don't understand why people are slating him for tonight. Dias wasn't any better and yet he gets a free pass
  7. Stones didn't do that much wrong. He was very steady. Nerves might have got to him at the beginning but he improved especially in possession. I don't think maguire and stones are too bad. They're not elite defenders but they are better than alot of country's defenders in this tournament. I would play 3 at the back anyway with reece james as a right centreback
  8. I wouldn’t start him for England anyway. Hes a quality player but hes had a bad season
  9. He was involved attacking wise more than any other player. De bruyne was non existent
  10. He didn't go missing. He was city's most dangerous player. But city as a whole were poor
  11. Reece james has to start for England. He was immense defensively. Walker wasn't bad though
  12. Me too. I would start foden kane sancho. Hes been run into the ground by ogs. Still carrying an injury
  13. Ings looked good when he played wales or Ireland can't remember which. Bamford hasn't played yet I think we should give them Time to prove themselves
  14. Real strength in depth. We have 4 rightbacks that would walk into most national teams. Not to mention awb. 2 excellent leftbacks. Top quality options out wide. Up front the fact he left out ings and Bamford shows the quality up front. Central midfield isn't as bad as people make out. We also should have taken tomori ahead of Mings. Hes been outstanding for Milan. Konsa has been excellent for villa too. Pickford is reliable and has been very good for Everton the last couple of months. This is definitely the best strength in depth in my lifetime. 40% of epl players playing week in week out are English. Which is a huge upturn
  15. This England squad has far more depth. U have to agree with that. I dont think stones or Shaw would get in that England team.
  16. Grealish foden mount kane rashford trent Sterling stones Shaw would walk into that England team
  17. Bull. This is our best squad since 06
  18. Cant agree with both being overrated. Rashford has tons of ability. He has scored 20 plus goals in the last 2 seasons from out wide. Sterling has had a poor season by his standard but he scored 30 plus goals last few seasons, yes he's in a great man city team but hes also been playing well for England in the last 2 years. I agree with Southgate being useless
  19. Was at the Newcastle game in the fa Cup. When he scored twice. When the fans booed him he did a gesture to the home fans. He was a legend here
  20. When u look who isn't in. Ali ings Bamford winks Pope awb tomori konsa. Just shows the strength in depth
  21. It says on Wikipedia his mother was born in the country. Was she born there as she's Chilean or just born there because her family were on holiday there. If the latter then this is even more weird. I normally can't stand when other countries take English born players but with this one its quite fascinating
  22. I wouldn’t call stones poor. Hes been one of city's best players this season. Yes he has dias alongside him but I've seen him in games where he's outshone dias. Man utd have clearly missed Maguires presence. Pickford has never been dodgy for England and has had an excellent second half of the season for Everton. Declan rice has been superb for West ham this season and impressed for England lately Bellingham is a standout midfielder. Henderson is a key player for Liverpool. Jwp has been named Southampton's player of the season. Phillips is capable of playing key passes. I certainly wouldn't rate Portugal's spine as better. Aside of dias, they have 2 37 year old defenders who are slow. Their central midfield lacks a playmaker. Neves has been poor for wolves. Fernandes is an attacking midfielder. We also have players like tomori White konsa to come through
  23. Trippier is quality but I would go for reece james as he's solid defensively and also great attacking wise
