We have plenty of technical players. Problem is, as joey said, the likes of stones needs to play regularly. He switches off which is part down to lack of game time and part down to overconfidence and negligence. Gomez is a top defender and he will make a huge difference when fully fit. The young lads coming through fills me with huge hope. This is a setback, we are not a title winning side until we sort out centre midfield. But there are some very talented young midfielders who didn't play last night that will be a huge step up from the one last night

I don't need to read the comments because I'm sure it's going to be negative negative negative. All I will say this team is fine but our central midfield is woeful but....I have high hopes for winks, cheek Madison and foden. They will make a world of difference to this team. They are all creative technically gifted players. Stones as talented as he is needs to cut out the stupid risk takes. Gomez needs to come in. Also taa needs to come in for walker.

5 years ago, sturridge was a world class footballer. Outstanding talent but he's gone the way of many talented english strikers, collymore, jansen, etc who took the foot of the pedal. Such a waste. Why did he join west brom when inter wanted him?

Grealish will be an England player in 6 months, I guarantee. As will Madison and foden. We have 3 brilliantly talented playmakers coming through so we can cast aside Delph and lingard, I still think lingard and deli have future but as squad players. I think Ali is too hot and cold. Moura has been far more cold than hot this season. It's not Kane's fault son was awful. Like I said Erikson is the one who should be criticized, he has been awful for a while now. How are spurs a better team without their only proven goal scorer? Yes in some ways they play more through midfield without him but he's by far their best player. Erikson for me is the overhyped one. He's nowhere near as good as people make him out to be. Harry winks was statistically their best player yesterday and they take him off instead of erikson

Don't talk crud. Kane has gotten spurs out of many situations over the years. One bad game when he wasn't anywhere nearly fit. The guy as as goal scorer is one of the best
