It was bad but then the Chelsea goalkeeper was really bad. -

Probably needed a reality check. Forces the brains trust to make a decision early next week. I bet they hoped we would win this. They could have announced Lowe until the end of the season, and then Gerrard once the tax year is over. -

And he has mot controlled it well. Dennis looks too sexy for his shirt. -

Not the game for Gueye. One dimensional. Need a runner up front. -
If it is a Happy Monday announcement hope it is a Step On from Eustace

Why see the wonderful facilities at Brockhall when you can have a sumptious lunch at the Savoy in relative seclusion? So much easier to pull the wool over a hungry manager's eyes. You can see why the dream team choose Fockhall over Brockhall.

And coming up fast on the inside rail wearing blinkers is Steve Gerrard?

Our dilemma is a simple one. The shackles are off. Players are enjoying their game under a nice uncomplicated manager who has a good football brain and no pretensions. Anyone new will want to assert themselves. Thats how it works in business and sport. Nobody comes in and says, it is all fine as it is. Otherwise why would they be hired? I worry about a new manager's preconditioned style of play and their need to assert themselves. This could cause tension in the ranks and undo the good work of previous games. I hope the new manager listens to Professor Lowe and lets things flow. We are in a solid play off position with the team playing for each other. I also hope the board takes its time choosing a new manager. That's our best chance of the feel good factor continuing and the points continuing to accrue.

Yes The Professor waved his wand today and magic happened. 🪄 So I guess that result means we are better than Liverpool. 🤔 I wonder whether King Kenny was putting in a good word for Gerrard? 👂 Fine result, composed play and avoided a banana skin. 🍌 We are right in the play off mixer. I hope a new manager doesn't impose his rigid thinking on something that is working beautifully at the moment. 🕺 -

Maybe The Professor is weaving his psychology to play Forshaw against Plymouth. He will want to play his pants off The Professor will bring Buckley on later. -
The two foreign ones are in India 😆

Probably the best result this season. Outstanding tactics from "Professor" Lowe. I really liked the way he connected with his bench rather than sit in the boss's chair Gueye has shown his potential. The heatmap doesn't lie, he was everywhere, and his finishing was immaculate. Players played their hearts out and our fans were magnificent. The result was crucial for us in the race for the playoffs oh and we stuffed: Mowbray Armstrong Eustace West Brom home form Arte et Labore 👊👊 -

Classy of Travis to shake the hands of all the mascots as well as opponents. He will get his reward tonight. -

Would we be kind of deflated if it all fell through? Are we in the mindset of “The King is dead. Long live the King.” -

Any hard nut will do for the rest of the season. The beatings will continue until we get promoted with 13 out of contract. Sammie is quoted as saying that JDT was better on strategy and Eustace on man management. Both useless strategies for this moment. A good seasoned no no sense get it done tough git is needed to stop everyone wondering where their next gig will be next season and get us in the play offs Warnock will do nicely 😉

We probably have Paul Warne waiting in the wings. Cheap simple option and grateful for the money. 😯 Whatever our situation we are still in around the play off positions. Any manager with ambition would grab the opportunity of a "new manager bounce"to get us into the playoffs. We are not relegation fodder. Then it is a lottery. Hey, if by some miracle we grab the third position, signing 13 players would not be a problem 🪄🧞♂️ -

Why should Eustace leave? Long term contract at Derby so even if they go down he can rebuild. Affinity to the club he played for. Family lives in the area. Good sign on bonus and salary and a big bonus if he keep them up. Doesn't have to deal with the tombola that is 13 players out of contract end season, and the uncertainty of extra funds, or even the club going tits up if rhe court case is lost. Backing of a local English owner worth 350 million and who loves his club and saved it Familiar ring to it? -

Interesting discussion on ESPN plus. Before the game there was talk about the quadruple. Liverpool should be tonking Plymouth with their second string. Why is it an either or these days with much bigger squads in the Premier League? Don't fancy some of the replacements if Liverpool suffer injuries Our Harvey gave away a penalty. -

Good summary. Maybe it is is the freshly pressed dark roasted Aeropress coffee early in the morning, but there was a lot to be positive about with that performance. Left side looks very good and will skin a few Championship defences. Dennis will be a handful when he is fit. Gueye continues to be a nuisance The obvious weaknesses didn't disappear and we all know them. The only way a goalkeeper improves is regular games. You can miss a few tackles and get away with staying out of the spotlight. ( take a bow Mr Cantwell) but there is no hiding place for a goalkeeper. Hopefully there is a goalkeeper in there somewhere but we will never know from cameo appearances. Remember that goalie who Mowbray shipped out because he and othere on this forum didn't rate him Hey ho, off to chip the ice off the path in 18F weather -

Strong as your weakest link. Shame. The left side is very promising. If JRC rolls the ball in the middle thats a goal.
