  1. If we are feeling sorry for ourselves check out the last minute transfer wastes of money on TalkSPORT. Benjani to Man City from Portsmouth to Man City is a classic. I think it is on YouTube.
  2. TBH I think the comment wS tongue in cheek if you read the context. Some of the best negotiators deliberately give the impression they are not very good negotiators. Truth is everyone in our league and much of the premier league is looking for the same thing. A player with enormous potential for a bargain basement price in a very competitive window. some of the prices clubs have played for players who have been complete flops is extraordinary. Look no further than Man United or West Ham to name a couple. Thete is no magic formula. Even the big money merchants with skilled negotiators screw up. I will take just outside the play off places with maybe a loan defender for cover to see us through the season.
  3. The Ifollow coverage was awful end of the first half. Hope Rovers are going to make the same gesture. AS a gesture of goodwill, the club will be offering refunds to supporters who saw their QPR+ live stream coverage of QPR v Blackburn interrupted on Tuesday night. A technical fault, which was out of control of the club, resulted in the main camera being unavailable towards the end of the first half and at the beginning of the second half. This also impacted the audio. The club would therefore like to offer refunds to seasonal and monthly QPR+ live video subscribers who were watching the game, as well as fans who purchased a Blackburn match pass.
  4. Nice one. I was feeling for the fans. I was plenty warm from my cell phone microwaves ??
  5. Good result. Dire second half. I Follow had some weird camera angles and dodgy sound but 3 points on a cold Tuesday night is worth having. It is frustrating. 5 goals away from home followed by a long lay off and a chill out in Portugal dulls the senses. I would have thought that a few Pennine runs and a bonding session in the local pub would have kept us sharper. We didn’t have the killer touch but still held on thankfully. Travis needs to calm down in injury time. He gave the ball away three times in quick succession which could have cost us the points.
  6. If you think that our “Tone” is the only manager to make some odd decisions, this stream is worth a read. There are odd decisions and gambles all over our League. Some work, some don’t. https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Championship Most if you, probably all of you have more experience of watching Brereton than I do. I am probably the only person who believes that there is a footballer in there waiting to gain his confidence. Something that a run of games, like Armstrong, will hopefully cure. As I mentioned before, my Forest mate loved watching him play. I just hope we haven’t sucked the lifeblood out of him before he begins to show his potential.
  7. Looks like Sam Hart is in for some excitement from Rovers u23 and loans to a trip to Anfield.
  8. And of course we have lost in the past to ten men. Teams usually kick it up a notch. Not today.
  9. Let’s be honest if you are looking at this result with no Dack and Graham, goals for Holtby and Gallagher, 5-0 away from home against a play off team. It feels like unexpected sex.????
  10. My uneducated guess is that he is looking after his own personal brand. He is not getting into a team with 23 points and looking at a relegation dogfight v mid table relatively solid position with our injury prone defenders. He has a better chance to maintain his value with us. He also recognizes we need goals which he can do. Maybe he pulled a strop with Mowbray early in the season and lost the argument. Whatever it is, if he is fit and protected from errors he could be an asset in the second half of the season.
  11. Phil Jones on loan might be in our price range after tonight. ?
  12. Perhaps a move like this with Mowbray would provide a greater stability for our club going forward and silence the doubters. You can’t make this up. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/what-a-joke-plenty-of-ipswich-town-fans-react-to-big-paul-lambert-news/
  13. Lest we forget. What an inspiration. #thankGodhewalked. Strong words from Ipswich manager Paul Lambert! “If they want to go and employ another manager, no problem. I’ll go, it’s not a problem for me to go. I’ll leave tomorrow or I’ll leave the next day, it’s not a problem.” ?️ ?️ @twtduk #ITFC
  14. Please do not wish that on us. Ipswich never recovered.
  15. I would admit that we have an innate ability to turn 7 million pound Centre forwards into dogs but he is not a bad player. The Forest fans rated him and he got into the young England squad. When Graham retires and the options are Ben and Ben then we will see whether we have a player once he gets a proper run in the team. Confidence is everything as Gallagher knows this season.
  16. This was never going to be pretty. Shouldn’t have risked our playmakers. Hoof ball to big boys would have been more effective. If these injuries are dodgy the team will pick itself for Birmingham.
  17. The guys with a point to prove proved it. The manager was bold and fortune favours the brave. This is a huge result as we go into the holidays. How nice to have a real selection headache. Mixed views on BB on the board. I was lunching with a Forest fan who watched him regularly. He said he is lightning quick and an intelligent player. When Graham retires his time will come.
  18. Absolutely spot on. Give people a chance to shine, put others in the shop window, keep the squad energized in car of injuries, rest key players. The formation is a risk but if players fancy an extended run in the team this is a great chance to shine. 3 out of 4 defenders are proven. Fortune favors the brave - hopefully.
  19. Luvly. I hate watching on bbc text when it goes into extra time. FT are two beautiful letters when the score is 1-0
  20. Hopefully this team will do a great job tonight and it will be deja by all over again. Just as we asked.
  21. Hopefully Mowbray will play Graham up front to “worry” Raya
  22. We might have to if we get a good offer for Dack
  23. Any odds on Marcus Maddison plus a couple of defenders replacing Dack?
  24. 50 years of hurt for my Wednesday mate I have known. For 55 years ?
  25. I would for defenders. But I would choose them for him?
