Glass half full kind of guy. Saw the game and we rode our luck a bit. Still three points against a local team away from home feels like an enormous gift. A bit like a home made pork pie hand delivered to America Lucky Rovers shirt and bracelet working great after a wobble mid week

Job done, not pretty but winning these games away is crucial. Good way to start the break.

AFC Bournemouth v ROVERS

On paper that us a very good team. Good place to try them all out. It is Premier league opposition but a chance to play Football. A chance for Rodwell to become an instant hero. -
ROVERS VS STOKE CITY

In Tony we trust. Got a fancy do tonight. The shirt and lucky bracelet stay on. -
I am surprised that part of their contract does not include penalties for unnecessary risks that they take that could impact their ability to play Football. If Dack or Rodwell had been banged away I wonder what they would have been paid. More importantly they would leave slots in the team that could not be filled until transfer time.

Interestingly Villa fans are uptight about playing Elmohamady on the wing rather than right back. https://thisisfutbol.com/2018/09/twitter/villa-fans-rip-into-elmohamady-v-blackburn/ Managers want to give their “best players” game time but the wings appear to be places that they put players whether they are no 9’s or right backs. Armstrong and Brereton are not wingers but they can do a job cutting in. Not sure that is better than putting on an out and out winger like Conway later on who can cross a ball to a target man. Then perm 1 out of 3 number 9’s to be in the target position.

Problem is clubs do character checks on their purchases. This little episode is hardly a resume builder. Maybe 15 million wasn’t too bad to cash in our chips, before the luck runs out.
-
How about a Rovers top, tracksuit bottom and Adidas retros? At least I feel half smart with that. ?. I would have liked Chapman. Hopefully he will be pitching a tent outside Ewood on January 1st.

If they have turned down 15 million for Dack I think we really should respect them for supporting the manager and indeed the club. 750k to 15 million quid with add ons is a very tempting offer. There is no guarantee that form may not dip or injuries happen. That is a risky decision and they should be applauded for taking it. I hope he continues to play like a 15 million pound player.

Tony must be missing an angel.

The table position might make the difference in some of the loan discussions next week. Momentum is an aphrodisiac. -

Cometh the hour cometh the men. One thing that front line is mobile. We will come at them from all angles. -
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/07/22/watford-fans-react-on-twitter-to-sunderland-midfielder-jack-rodw/ Earlier in the season. In Tony we trust, plus our Scottish captain who won’t have any mucking about.

Must say I love the humour . As a Sunderland fan I would say “Mowbray and Rodwell a match made in heaven.” For those who say Mowbray doesn’t take risks with the dressing room Karma , fasten your seatbelts.

Pools panel would say home banker. Football says differently. This is a job for magic wristband to see us home safely.

Indeed how so? Legal response only please.

There is a very fine line between success and failure. Adkins seems to be bowing to the inevitable after just one home game. We have been there. Meanwhile we have apparently prepared up to 8 million notes for The Forest lad. To coin a Billy Preston tune “ Will it go round in circles?” https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nigel-adkins-draws-question-mark-1914068

Or even a double own goal.
