  1. I like David Lowe and company, but is it something we should look at, when a manager doesn't bring in his own backroom staff? I can't think of too many clubs, where they hire a manager, and he doesn't bring in his own complete team. Or is this how it is these days?
  2. Personally think we should just run with the appointment, and wherever it takes us so be it. But, the off season, the protests should really be crazy wild heading into the new season. We just cannot progress anymore with Venkys in charge of this club
  3. I guess he doesn't like being in the top 6 Eustace returned to management with Birmingham City in the summer of 2022 and left the Blues early in the 2023/24 season despite being in a top six spot. He returned to management in February 2024 at Blackburn Rovers and, after guiding them to safety, he guided them into the top six in the current campaign.
  4. I don't like to talk about protests, because I'm unfortunately not there. However, at which point do the entire fan base say enough is enough, stand together and just rescue this club from this lot. I get the feelings of back the lads, support them, but if I was there, I would honestly just go for it non stop.
  5. One of the most amateurish statements I've ever seen from this lot, and I mean we have seen some stupid stuff from whoever runs this club
  6. I'd rather take Gerrard or Rooney if his name pops up
  7. My feelings as well.... New guy comes in, has the same issues, hurriedly quits and we start all over again. Need to get rid of these Indian shysters and their lapdog Waggot
  8. Whoever is the cheapest and most useless will get the job. My bet is on Suhail
  9. I hope JE doesn't come out with "id like to thank the Rovers fans, the board and owners" stuff once he leaves. Just walk away John, walk away lol
  10. So let's stop moaning about Venkys, if there is nothing more to do... Moaning about Venkys, is just as much pissing into the wind these days. It is what it is, so whoever comes in as manager, just accept it. Players that are signed, accept it. Players sold, accept it. End of story
  11. If things don't go too well for JE at Derby, where does the rest of his family live? So we know which club he might go to #FamilyMatters
  12. So here's a question though. If JE leaves, should the fans kick off with a massive protest for Venkys out? With 15 games to go, should the fans forget about the playoffs and start the Venkys Out action plan
  13. I agree, buying out your contract is never going to happen. However, we are so far into the season, a chance at the playoffs, that you would think that JE would at least try and see where it ends. All the positive interviews from JE, I don't know if I should take it as lies or that he was genuinely positive
  14. I'm pretty sure, that even if he didn't go to Derby, there will be at least a league 1 club looking to sign him up. The issue isn't about him leaving, the issue here is, that with 15 games to go, see it through.
  15. C'mon Jim, do you honestly think that no other club would come in end of the season for JE, if he stayed and got us into the playoffs? What he has done this season, has been nothing short of phenomenal.
  16. Fair enough... I'm just saying, there are many, who have left work having been in tough situation, that just could no longer afford to continue in that situation. If JE felt that he was betrayed, he could have just said enough is enough. Considering he was unemployed when we brought him in, im sure another club end of season would have easily snapped him up
  17. One would never say, that a club could sign pre contract agreements with a manager as well. I mean, complete the last 15 games, and after that, welcome to Derby County JE. Everybody happy
  18. It's okay man, we understand JE has a better financial offer lined up, and that his chance at doing something special with the bad hand he has been dealt is not as good. Good luck JE.
  19. I've worked in undesirable working conditions before, promised more money that never materialized. I left, without any other job lined up. If one is unhappy, you don't stay waiting for somebody to offer you something better, if you feel that you have been well and truly mistreated. So line JE, if he felt disgruntled, he could have called it a day well before this offer came in
