Bloody awful from douglas again there, miles out of position and walking back. Good job Williams got the block to save him -

I read that as you did the same celebration as Dolan then, now that would've been impressive ? -
Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

I can't believe I'm not reading more criticism of Douglas, he's been awful so far tonight. Turns back inside and passes back more than bell, so negative. The only cross I remember him making missed everyone by miles, not what I was expecting from him. -
Maybe the "huge amount of team news" includes an injury to Kaminski while on international duty??
-
Looked like he had all of the same flaws as Bell to me. Starts too narrow and let crosses in far too easily. Very stand-offish, none of the aggression some described previously, and always seemed to pass backwards. Can't remember many crosses either.
-
Was trying to find that game earlier, just realised its on sky red button
-
I agree it always seems to be the case, but if he stays injury free and comes back match fit then it's probably a good thing for us on this occasion.

Who are a championship team on merit -
I was thinking the same, Tosin alongside Ayala, with Cunningham (or similar standard LB) and Lenihan going to back up, would be a serious upgrade.

I saw it here https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-rovers-pears-transfer-middlesbrough-18936099 "Asked whether Pears could feature in Middlesbrough's Carabao Cup fixture against Barnsley, Warnock responded: "Aynsley has had some sickness and diarrhea today so I'm not sure about the goalkeeping position at this moment. I'll have to wait and see."

Has the shits (Warnock interview earlier)

"The Ukraine international was substituted before Gent medics sewed up his manhood by the side of the field." ouch ?

To be fair, there are no new quotes in that article saying anything about 'stepping up their search' just a journo's headline. Nowt new to get upset about (apart from not having a keeper obviously, but this article is rehashed old news)
-
And surely we wouldn't need a scouting network for that - I'm sure Holtby knows German football inside and could recommend a few??
-
Genuine question anyone - does Smallwood have more league minutes in goal than Fisher and Hilton? Has Fisher ever made a league appearance?
