Why are we always the club that offers charity when a club's in free fall? -

Pathetic. Abysmal ref. Derby are a horrible team. Hope they go down, they deserve to. -

I've long come to the conclusion that some on here just like shouting at the sky because well - those clouds are just fucking annoying! I accept we are a basket case but a letter, come on.... -

No need to apologise. I did wonder if there was a mood altering substance involved though! 🍷🙂 -

BagManAway. Thanks for taking the time to post. Your comments are well thought out and push back at some of the more negative WBA fan comments. I do get that all clubs have stories to tell about previous managers. Ask us about Miwbray for instance and you'll get plenty, and that's before we even start on the likes of Kean, Coyle and Ince! Anyhow, just wanted to say thank as I found it a really interesting post.- 739 replies

A little bit melodramatic don't you think? -

Pre-January, I agree would have been a no-go. Now, we definitely have a much stronger bench. I don't necessarily see them as a 'massive step down either. You could be looking at Carter, Buckley, Ohashi, Dennis, Dolan, Cantwell, Kargbo, Gueye etc. depending on who's in the starting 11 I won't include Hedges as I think that would be over-egging the pudding... 🙂 -

See, I quite like the 'put it in like it's a 60 minute game and then replenish with fresh legs' approach.... -

Give over, we heard you already on the closed thread. He wouldn't have been my first choice but nor is he a pitiful appointnent. Many of the names mentioned might potentially fit that description ( Boateng, Boa Morte etc) but I think you're being a bit of a drama queen.- 739 replies

Probably best to get all your facts right before you blow a gasket and your blood pressure. It's no wonder people get so stoked up when they make up the stuff which does the stoking.
-
He does look like a hard bastard which, for some reason, makes me happy....
-
Agreed, although given how dysfunctional we are and the self-imposed financial constraints I'd suggest he's about as good as we can expect.
-
Joey, you really need to get out more...

You mean like stating Wagner had one good season and then 'stank the place out' wasn't fool proof (given it was BS). Someone said that recently. Oh yes, it was you.... What seems unarguable is that if he gets anywhere near his current win % record he'll take us up so I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
-
Typical hyperbolic response from you and actually factually incorrect. Let's take Wagner. Took Huddersfield up, then somehow managed to keep them up the following year. Norwich, he got to the play-offs and had a 40% win percentage. Schalke was very poor. 2nd in Swiss league also a bit meh. However, 'one good season at Huddersfield and has stank the place out since' is clearly complete bullshit.
-
Nothing like writing players off when they've barely played or had one bad game. If we're using Swansea as the barometer, the entire team looked like they'd never played the game or seen a football before.
-
It was such a mussed opportunity today, that's what's so infuriating. 2 wins 2 great performances followed by that shit-show. Lowe, took the cheap and easy option, picked all his homies rather than the best team we could put out. Time to get a fucking manager in!
-
I was thinking he'd shat himself...
-
Pathetic.
-
I agree, he's scored more goals than Hedges and Dolan combined. Yes, his legs have gone a bit and he can't do 90 minutes any more but he's a far more intelligent footballer than the other two.
-
I'd say Lowe has played himself out of contention for the job today. Spineless team selection. We're 5th, we should be going to Swansea looking to impose ourselves and go hone with the 3 points. Seems to me that Lowe went looking not to lose and that's turned out well...
-
Stone cold foul. Ward is a shit ref!!!!
-
We deserved that. Changes needed...
-
Poor so far. Hedges shit. Dolan has reverted to type.... Would love to see some halftime substitutions.
