He misjudges the bounce of a ball a lot! Any full back requires a modicum of pace. Unless you are playing Rovers, you are likely up against the quickest player on the pitch. You can have all the positioning nous in the world but if that ball gets knocked past you, you've had it.

Brittain not been as good as hoped IMO. Not great defensively and average going forward. Has a decent engine to be fair though.

Hopefully we get Cantwell, keeper and a winger signed on permanent deals. Then fill our boots with the Premier league kids - CM, Wing, CF and CD. Would be huge improvement over previous windows. Would not be averse to a bit of late player trading. Dolan/Siggy/Hyam would not be greatly missed.

He's 3/4th choice there. They have a proper squad. Fits the bill. Was on loan at Swansea last year but missed half the season with a muscular injury. That should make him a cheap loan punt.

Absolutely. We are over stocked with bang average 10s and no proper wide players. Only one we have is Hedges and he's hit/miss and injury prone. Dolan Siggy Weimann Ohashi Gilsenan Bloxham All arguably tens. IF we sign Cantwell, I'd have no issues getting Dolan and Siggy minimum out the door. Surely there would be some takers. Then get 2 quick, genuine wide players in. Team would be much better for it. Still another decent forward short. Big Mac gets injured and there's nobody to lead the line. It's not Ohashi's strength. Then we are down to Leonard/Vale. Need a big Nzonzi size centre midfielder and of course a keeper.
