  1. Yeah it's fine points wise - as long as you don't have to watch it.
  2. That was a hard watch. Our passing and first touch is dire and time after time a lack of pace means we turn over the ball. Wins a win though.
  3. I think over the course of the season, that and the PNE game will be more reflective of our overall performances.
  4. They had a bit of pace up top and we couldn't cope. All it takes.
  5. Well that was a disappointing performance to say the least. Our 2 cbs were bullied all game by their Number 9. He must have won virtually every header. Dolan/Hedges/Baker were abysmal. All 3 should have gone at HT. I'm at a loss as to what Baker actually offers. Eustace got it wrong today. Gueye has to start when available. His subs were made too late. Again we lack the pace to get behind teams. The Brighton lad didn't look like the answer to our pace issue either. He also wanted to come inside every time. But its early days yet. Beck had a decent game/Pears made some good saves. Carter/Trav/Tronstadt solid enough. The rest were well off it. On the plus side we didn't lose and I'd have taken a point beforehand. One shot in the entire second half against 10 men is seriously shit though!
  6. Think we come away with the points today. My only concern is that it goes Pears shaped at some point.
  7. I get that when its not sold out. Just causes aggro on days like this.
  8. Is there any kind of away fan zone type thing or are we just being herded in to the stand? Have to go early to get a parking place.
  9. Allocated seat. I'll just make sure I get in it 20 mins or so before kick off. Plenty will still be at the bar/bog.
  10. From what I've seen Ohashi isn't quick - probably average paced. Ropey first touch, but a cracking engine and knows how to draw a foul. He can clearly use both feet and seems a natural finisher. Also has a very good jump so surprisingly good in the air for his height. Very useful signing for this level. I'd still rather play Gueye as the lone striker. Ohashi could clearly play the 10 or off Gueye.
  11. Still tickets left on rovers website. Would be great to sell out. Even I'm dragging myself to this one.
  12. Pears with a great save. Superb from Carter too. Baker needs hooking.
  13. Early days but I'd be asking questions about a permanent fee for Beck.
  14. We look comfortable but our front 4 offer very little going forward.
  15. The championship is a bonkers league. Every team us capable of beating any other. Unlike the last couple of years there is no standout team from the relegated bunch. Think the dingles and Sheff U will be in the top 6 but no team runs away with it this year. All to play for - Lets see if we can avoid a death spiral under Eustace.
