  1. Absolutely made up with that performance - especially second half. Worried Beck wouldn't be great defensively but proved me wrong. Fantastic debut and should keep the shirt. Shout out for Hedges second half. Tracked back tirelessly to help beck out. Lads dug in and brought some pride back. Travis gave a proper captain's performance.
  2. What ever happens now, that first mins aside' We've shown a lot more than last year.
  3. Every weakness exposed. Brittain soft an can't tackle. Fuck knows where the centre backs are. Then the header is right at Pears who is useless as ever.
  4. Tough first game for Beck but I'm assuming he will have experienced playing against Rangers/Celtic. Great opportunity to nail down the spot straight away if he has a good un.
  5. In isolation not a bad window at all. The squad was in such a state that it really needed 12-13 players. Which was always going to be a tough ask. Got a mixture of experience, proven champ level players, a couple of wild cards and a promising loan. Just hope the keeper is better than Pears. Still think we are a left winger, forward and cb light. From where we were though, to get to only 3 signings away without a significant kitty is better than I expected. Hopefully those positions get addressed in Jan. Even better if someone like Tyjon or Gilsenan can step up.
  6. Does Tyjon look capable of stepping up to the first team this season?
  7. Left winger with pace missing Chaddy. You've been screaming for one for weeks.
  8. We have about 8 no 10s that can play 'wide' if they have to, but none of them are much good at it - regardless of which side they prefer.
  9. So after all the huff about a left winger with pace - the one position we don't sort is...
  10. That's the beauty of football. We all have opinions. For me, the Fulham lad is similar to Dolan so I'd avoid. For others, that may be a good thing. Pointless having opinion if you aren't certain about it. The Brighton lad however seems more two footed - favours his left and looks genuinely quick. Could be a good un.
  11. He's another right footed winger - too similar to Dolan. Doesn't look particularly quick on those clips. Hopefully there is someone better out there.
  12. Not worried about a forward Chaddy? Ohashi doesn't seem to be able to hold the ball up. He's also played half a season so at some stage he's going to need a prolonged rest or pick up a knock. Then factor in he'll hit a barren patch at some stage. Where will the goals come from? Vale has gone Leonard is injury plagued Lets not even discuss Dolan as a forward option. Which only leaves Gueye who I really like like. He gets injured and we struggle massively.
