  1. She really wanted you to watch it didn't she ? Did she let go when you needed a pee ?
  2. A new 'Taco Loco' has opened in 'The Mall' Absolute @#/?, avoid
  3. We have always been short of top athletes in certain areas, hence the need to push to promote British athletes, like the Canadian Greg Rusedski, or the South African Zola Budd
  4. Daft post, I look forward to the all England club every year. It's typical of the British to moan about how poor we are at a particular sport then chuck brickbats at someone who excels and achieves world status. Incredible ignorance really. Andy Murray has earned ALL the plaudits fair and square, a genuine, hard working dedicated proffessional. Fantastic son and ignore the bitters.
  5. Fury is a disgrace to the sport and morally bankrupt. He isn't depressed, he's a t1t
  6. In one of the back rooms of the Vulcan was an old fireplace with a small, wooden shelf over it. My mate Gus Goldsbrough kept laughing and asked me to put Whole Lotta Rosie on the jukebox. I finally gave in and on it went. Straight away a local loon some how climbed onto the shelf over the fireplace facing the wall, (narrow, his feet were at quarter to three) and danced to the whole record without falling off. THAT'S a pub.
  7. True though, a pub crawl in the old Blackburn was magical, not now 'Range' has taken over - ghost town. Darwen is a great night
  8. I didn't disagree with you ??
  9. The Classic before the Unit 4 and the Esoldo before that. I'm very familiar with the site as I closed it in 2005. The VUE put paid to a Cinema that served the town for a long time. I was privy to several plans to develop the site and visited site on many occasions with potential developers. One scheme involved residential apartments overlooking a central courtyard which looked very nice, but Margaret Grimshaw's flats at the top of Mincing lane were a stark reminder of the lack of local money. Between you and me the building is knackered, but memories of Screen 1 (before and after the refurb) are dear. The first time I saw Star Wars was in there, and jumping up as Ben Gardner's head rolled out of THAT boat.
  10. House of the rising sun - the animals
  11. Independence Day : Resurgence. Two hours of my life down the drain.
  12. A lot of the featured movies are good, but they are still being made by the same crew from the old series. Sack all of the presenters bar Le Blanc, then recruit two British presenters, one a bit of an intellectual and the other a good interviewer. Add to Le Blanc though and not build around him - this is a peculiarly british show (hence the failure of Top Gear USA)
  13. He meant cystitis 😂
  14. You won't need to fool, global demand dictates that after the episode airs it'll be all across the web like confetti.
  15. I liked the twitter comments from the American TG fans - "No thanks, we'll wait for the real thing in August"
  16. Go to Albert's shed instead
  17. Big Country - Fields of Fire
  18. Worldwide around 350 million, yes 350 million
  19. Only realised this afternoon, the train wreck that is Chris Evans' Top Gear is on Sunday night.
  20. Just watched 'Star Trek : Into Darkness' again and for me it beats Force Awakens on every level. Benedict Cumberbatch is astounding.
  21. This board's playing up, that's an actual pic of my seared beef at Yu and You
  22. Not so much Khan having a glass chin, that punch would have knocked a car over
  23. Funny when he said that if Trump gets in, nobody would see the fight. A Muslim fighting a Mexican ?
