  1. Welcome aboard and good luck to him
  2. Apart from the red card is Joseph looking good? Seeing his name on the scoresheet a bit
  3. Summon the chaddometer!
  4. Consider me simply ‘whelmed’ I have a view that there is actually very very few good managers over a career out there, shown by some of the names we’ve been linked with we would have been delighted with at one stage of their career including Ismael, Karanka and Wagner. Most of them will have a couple of jobs it works out in and more where it just doesn’t. We’ve gone for an easy option who may well have peaked early and now need a big chunk of luck in the hope it works out here. It does show me that we probably hoped to ride it out long enough just to give it to Lowe as this appointment could have been made within a couple of days of Eustace going.
  5. Them winning the championship at Ewood certainly wasn’t nice for Rovers but it didn’t have too much impact on us, either team beating the other in the playoffs celebrating whilst at the same time dumping their rivals out would be a far bigger win for either team there’s no doubt about that. Not going to happen mind
  6. I’ve never seen the Kool-Aid consumed quite so earnestly!
  7. And Sunderland don’t really matter as they are above us, hope to be wrong but feel the slide into mid table has begun
  8. I think it’s become a lot more hypothetical
  9. You’ve got to throw caution to the wind and make the subs but Lowe has shown with the line up that he’s not the sort for that
  10. People wanted to give it Lowe, this is exactly why you don’t do that Abysmal
  11. It’s one thing keeping Hedges but playing him was always a flaw of Eustace and now it’s on Lowe, there’s literally a handful of better options available
  12. I really don’t have the same hostility towards Derby or Eustace that most seem to have, I don’t care if they stay up or go down. In my mind history won’t have Eustace as a villain in our story
  13. Our favourite Irishman back on the bench is good to see but worrying that Lowe would play Weimann and Hedges ahead of Kargbo that seems very conservative Feels the kind of game we usually lose so hoping for a pleasant shock today
  14. Cracking goal to be fair though
  15. watching Burnley they have some ridiculous luck in not conceding
  16. Saw a random post that said the same on Facebook - wonder if there’s something in it or just another rumour going round
  17. Football fans are fickle, just before the West Brom game it was full on anger at the club and sympathy for Eustace, win a couple of games and all that is forgotten and Eustace is a snake (handily using an excuse that he didn’t say when he heard about the Derby interest) Waggott has the luck of the devil
  18. Surely Lowe (nice guy etc) is in the terrible camp - it just never works
  19. What a hero, apparently Mbappe been studying him and credits him for his hat trick last night. Delighted he’s moved on from slightly comedic cult hero to genuine favourite with the fans, hope he carries on like that
  20. Got to be the final, they’ve been lording it over us since they won ‘the league’ (not the big one - we’ve seen things they’ll Never see) so would be a good way to counter that with a more painful riposte and a perfect way to flip it all on its head. sure a loss would be horrible but would just be on the pile at the moment.
  21. Well yes they both trained there many times
  22. Dilan gone from star man in league 2 to bench warming at the upper end of league 1, wonder if a process of elimination is him naturally finding a level mid league 1?
  23. I know he amounted to nothing due to injuries amongst other things but I remember when Harry Chapman first came on loan there was excitement when he got the ball, he’d run at people and try and make something happen. This lad is like that, although I was worried at the way he ran on against QPR that his hamstring was about to explode due to his awkward looking running style and pace!
