  1. Whilst this was an obviously flippant post earlier the more I think about it I’m pissed off. You can have all the slogans like “one of our own” all you like, there is no heart at the Centre of this club, there’s no pride in what was built and what remains. We need change, at minimum we need someone like Duncan to have a seat at the table and someone around that table who can do more than “take it away and look into it”
  2. In fairness the club are doing all they can. I just followed a bus up Livesey branch road, the back of it covered in an advert for ‘Our Rovers’ Season Tickets I mean sure it was for 2019 / 2020 season tickets with those prices advertised but we can’t expect them to put the effort in every single year…
  3. True I think some people never got requested refunds for the Covid cancellations!
  4. I’ll take BBE upper tier
  5. Meh it’s ok for a plain blue training top
  6. I just need to know who the hero is going to be counting the dots! And if you condensed everyone from the riverside would they fill the end two blocks?
  7. Now that would be a smart move, however it’s probably more likely they see this as a way to sell more at the inflated prices
  8. Not too disappointed with that, hard to be overly excited as I don’t know much about him but more excitement than a stale journeyman I just wonder if he was always in the running, my assumption is there was never really a plan to the process and he just fell in our lap
  9. Did Fielder replace Greg Coar Whats Tom Finn up to these days? He’d be the best appointment we could make as a club
  10. The test of loyalty deadline came and went for us, my dad has gone for a European railcard instead so will spend more time travelling the continent whilst the eldest and I, not being ‘one of our own’ will find something else to do on a Saturday it seems
  11. It’s ridiculously short sighted, in our case 3 season tickets across 3 generations likely now not renewed, the seats we had are plum seats so will get snapped up but ultimately it’s more people lost who may get out of the habit and who knows when will return
  12. Interesting that the loyalty window was 51 days, less than 2 pay packets Meanwhile Mowbray confirmed he was leaving around the same time and still no manager in place….
  13. I know other clubs do it but what’s the actual justification for the Waggott Tax additional £30? Is it purely a ‘not loyal enough’ punishment?
  14. I know little about JDT other than he’s seemingly succeeded with the tasks he’s had A friend from that part of the world told me to be prepared to be bored to death, when asked if he didn’t rate him he said it’s not a slight on his managerial style more his dull personality
  15. We had the ‘renew or you’re not loyal’ reminder yesterday The only way we’d renew is to keep the seats we have but as churlish as it is we won’t pay extra for the privilege so they’ve possibly lost 3 sales An encouraging appointment would have tipped the balance but the day the captain is likely to leave whilst Benjamin Benedict Benson gets ready to take pre season training Monday there is little desire I may be less of a fan than is desired but that is fine by me, my money and time is precious and I can’t forever commit a good chunk of both out of nothing more than habit
  16. @J*B is it possible to bring the dislike button back for a single post? No reason just curious
  17. Some imagination behind this, was dreading a Dunn type appointment, seems well thought of too
  18. Is red button still a thing next season, thinking there will be more midweek games with the mid season break
  19. Sharpe says the name being doing the round for a few days, begs the question, why not report on it then?
  20. Very real chance I won’t have a season ticket for the first time in years, spoke to my dad yesterday and due to missing a few games and some apathy neither of us have strong feelings about renewing, if we did renew it would purely be because we have decent seats at the moment
  21. As long as it’s not a jobs for the boys scenario and Dunn rocks up as DoF
  22. Stockport sold 2,500 I bet we aren’t much better than that!
  23. Ah lovely the UKIP funding vapers with the branding that looks to appeal to kids Awful decision
  24. For my sins I’m a HR Manager so I get involved with recruitment and interviews. If you have a great candidate at the first round of interviews you move to secure them you don’t keep throwing the net out. Of course there’s times when a couple stand out and you’d want to speak to them again to make a decision or have them meet with stakeholders but a shortlist increasing would hint at either a lack of suitable candidates or the people running the selection process not knowing what they are doing….
