It’s easy to blame the ref, granted had he done his job we escape with a point but we did have a chance to correct it, sad thing is there’s not a player on the pitch we’d be confident of burying that. I’d have the most faith in someone like Brittain which says a lot for a right back with no goals to his name for us. On the balance of play we were lucky to keep it to 1-0 Dack did pop up with a ‘goal’ but I’m not convinced he’s not finished, the chance before was perfect for the Dack of old

Depends how you define ‘make it’ he’s in his third season and been a regular in the squad with goals and assists (2 and 3 already this season) and earned himself an England youth call up bagging a goal in the process. I’d say he’s doing a pretty good job of making it at this level to be honest.

I get how he wants to play a passing style, but it helps having players that can pass. May as well play Dack in the quarterback role if we are going to be doing that. Probably 4 or 5 you could change at half time but Buckley and Sammy for Dack and Morton for me

Very little mention of quality Dolan helping us to the win on Saturday? Seems easy to jump on him after every mistake though

Tin hat time - I remember once going mad at Tugay, even giving him a hearty booing I want to say Middlesbrough at home, he got two of the laziest and most pointless bookings you could see, one was a handball for no reason on the edge of their box and was sent off before half time, we got battered. Another I just remembered Amine Linganzi, I remember when we signed him I sat up and took note because @unleaded was positive about him after previously advocating for Steven Nzonzi! Looked a player with potential but hardly got near the team and went onto a career with lower league teams including Accrington. A similar story with Yann Songo’o - the only thing I recall about him is that whilst he never played, Savio (formerly of this parish but rarely seen now) had his name on the back of his shirt in what must surely be a one of a kind garment!
