  1. Hope we sign him, there’s good potential for a chant to ‘the animals went in two by two’ there Yannis N'gakoutou Hoorah Hoorah! Yannis N'gakoutou Hoorah Hoorah! Yannis N'gakoutou, Dack and Holtby, Nyambe too, we’re all going to the premier league cause Rovers are back again!
  2. Rothwell was poor at weekend but may as well give him another go, some players need a run of games, he hasn’t shone this season but it’s been stop start for him I think given the lack of output from other areas and the fact we can use 5 subs it’s certainly worth having Chapman on the bench As pessimistic as we are tuned to be surely we have to expect a win here
  3. I wouldn’t call for him to go, but if there was someone lined up to push us on I’d be happy enough for it to happen. I’m not wise enough to suggest who that could be though, I like the option of dynamic young coaches from abroad like Wolves and Norwich pulled out of the hat but Henning Berg proved that’s risky Depends what the aim is, I think with Tony we could have a few more seasons like this where we are comfy in mid table with a flirt with the playoffs but I’m just not convinced he’ll ever break the glass ceiling here, lost track of times as a club we’ve got to 7th then regressed, the Yeovil home game under Bowyer seemed to start this trend in this generation!
  4. Tricky one in the keeper department, I see no point playing Leutwiler, we know about him and he’s never going to be anything more than average, he did the job he was brought in to do, sit on the bench and get a couple of games postponed. Walton is a standard mid championship keeper, capable of being solid on his day yet he’s been at fault on all 3 goals since the restart. Whilst we still have an outside shot of top 6 (I know it’s remote but on paper 4 points off with 7 games to play) I think I’d just about stick with him then bring in the best prospect we have in the academy.
  5. Ironically I’ve thought his strongest point this season has been claiming crosses, that went out of the window yesterday
  6. According to the telegraph Walton thinks he was fouled for the first goal, I suggest he takes up a new sport. Sure the disallowed goal last week was weak but it has no bearing (and was more of a foul as Tosin shoves the defender towards the keeper) but the one yesterday could never be a foul, the fact the ref didn’t give a foul for the Marshall incident earlier nullifies any argument. Shite decision making twice in the move from Walton and then shite goalkeeping to top it off, should have saved the second as well
  7. We gambled on stopping and trying to con the ref into giving us a foul rather than trying to block the shot
  8. Really line how Brereton makes himself an option constantly when playing out wide he’s always looking for the pass
  9. If you are going to have a drinks break can they at least take it into account with stoppage time, 1 minute is a joke
  10. Brereton and Nyambe looking good so far Still think Nyambe is the best right back in this league he’s a beast
  11. Awful by Bennett why is he dribbling towards his own goal in the first place
  12. Well that’s that, 3-1 Cardiff - we can’t go 6th today but need to make sure we get above Preston at least
  13. I’ve said before I find it farcical giving Smallwood another month, it will be desperate measures if we call on him. It’s also a kick in the face for fans who were told not to ask for refunds for their £50 or so let’s say at £10k a week that’s 800 season ticket pro rated refunds Sam Hart even on £2k a week for arguments sake would be nearly another 200 The ridiculous thing is Hart can’t even play for us as he was due to be on loan till season end
  14. Still reckon we’ll end up the lad released by Rangers, Foderingham is it?
  15. I thought he was our weakest outfield player first half and they spotted that but seemed to pick up second half but they didn’t really show any attacking intent to test He’s young and has potential but would prefer to see him further forward
  16. Weird 4-5 players slipped after half time, we must have over watered it
  17. Brilliant performance, this version of football with the intensity removed is a little odd to me still but let’s keep the march up the table going
  18. It’s weird and as I expected (not complaining as it’s working in our favour) this last 10 minutes is like a training game, no real push from them to attack
  19. Think the lack of crowd has been to our benefit today, no nerves after the early goal and it feels relaxed now as well
