Apart from the goal I think my 3 favourite moments of last night were tackles: Gallagher closing down chasing a ball out wide then a crunching tackle out for a throw Edun knowing he’s going to get clattered but going in full blooded in injury time and taking a big hit for the team Then Zeefuik closing down an attacker like a steam train and getting a big block and wasting some more time and celebrating like an NFL player after a big block The kind of thing that will win over the Ewood Crowd massively

Delighted to hear he’s doing ok, as others said they were battering us at the time and the stoppage helped us massively, heard of taking one for the team but that’s extreme. Hope you are ok, must have been truly awful for you

Another huge game on Saturday, beat Luton (Bournemouth play Barnsley) then we have another game before Bournemouth as they are in cup action so would give us an opportunity to create some distance and put the pressure on them

We do need an extra attacking option this window, even as a sub I don’t think Butterworth has what’s needed sadly. A loan out would be ideal for him

He’s 17th in the league for number of shots having taken 43. 12 of those on target. 2 goals. He was great for us in the last season or two but it was a fair comment that he did shoot on site, with some success, but at times the wrong choice

Honestly the first few performances at Ewood from the bench he looked a special talent. Similar in style to (but not comparable to) Duff in that when he got the ball you expected something to happen, he just had that spark. Once he got injured the spark disappeared.

Feels like last chance saloon if he does get a chance, the fact that he couldn’t get a place in the Burton team doesn’t bode well. He has to smash it if given a chance now
