  1. We used to play the boys are back in town just before the final countdown in the early nineties It may have been short lived but let’s not forget there was a period when we came out to We are the Champions The most random one was probably one season around 99 when we came out to a Bryan Adams song ‘we’re gonna win, don’t wanna be a loser gonna win, cause winning really is the only thing’
  2. Hull have five centre halves out apparently
  3. It’s cold and windy, may not be a classic. Going for just a 4-0 win then
  4. Boris can consider himself fortunate we are low on midfield options! Hope he has one of his good games tonight as he’s class when on form
  5. Mentioned in another thread but today he was talking about Graham not playing and out striker options, his £7m man not even mentioned as an option nor questioned about
  6. Mowbray discussing Danny Graham and the attacking options in the telegraph https://t.co/Qp3tyY6qVL?amp=1 Not a single mention of the £7m man, not sure why he’s not questioned on it. Seems he’s not even seriously considered
  7. I’m in cherry tree, it’s grim but no chance it will be off as it is. The heavy rain was the biggest risk but this morning it’s intermittent sleet and hail
  8. Ah now it makes sense, I did wonder why this was next to the premier league trophy in the jack walker stand Kidding of course, we were unlucky that season, still frustratingly our own fault at times, Preston at home was a stinger
  9. Positivity is great, negativity is fine if that’s your bag too, everyone is entitled to a view What annoys me is the tweets and posts that are obviously passive aggressive, purely sarcastic and lacking any real point other than to score points
  10. I think Bell’s been good in this latest run in the team, certainly not standing out as poor in my opinion I think he could be improved on but a handy option there
  11. Don’t the FA name the pitches down at burton upon Trent after England legends? I imagine that’s where he got the idea ah yes The Sir Bobby Charlton pitch alongside the Paul Ince Pitch, lovely
  12. Will it be on? If this Carries on it will be in doubt, imagine the pitch is under water today
  13. Looks like it takes a touch or two on the edge of the box which is what @arbitro mentioned
  14. Overall I’m just glad it was yesterday and not today or I would have been kayaking down Livesey branch road If this carries on there’s a real risk of Ewood flooding and Tuesday being off depending on the river overflow
  15. Brilliant, definitive proof that it was onside because our manager said so! Whether it was or wasn’t that’s part and parcel of the game unless you advocate VAR which we know most people don’t. When decisions go our way it’s ‘oh well we deserve some luck now and then’ when it’s perceived it’s gone against us ‘OUTRAGE WE WERE ROBBED AND CLEARLY DESERVED A POINT’ Fact is we were second best yesterday, there’s no real shame in that they are a good team and we were hampered playing with a striker our wide
  16. Can you link that? The footage I saw from sky didn’t show the incident, would be interested to see as I almost missed it as thought they were going to comfortably clear the ball
  17. I thought through our own graft we created one chance (Nyambe cross to Gallagher), plus a couple of others through slips by them (Gallagher chance and disallowed goal) For a team at home that’s disappointing; we didn’t really look cohesive at any point. By far from the worst we’ve played but never really looked in danger of getting anything after it went 1-0
  18. Not sure if it was on or offside but on the balance we’d have been hugely fortunate to come out of that game with anything
  19. Second best all over today, felt we were out for a point and failed at that task. I wanted us to go for Hector and thought one slip aside he was class. Not much in the way of positives I can scrape from that
  20. Gally lacking in confidence massively at Ewood, desperate for a goal We’ve been under the cosh here
  21. Another good Walton stop followed by a howler that he got away with Trav and Nyambe playing well, JRC and Johnson struggling Second best but still wide open this one
  22. Superb stop by Walton to stop an own goal it was dropping in One of those nice to watch teams that look to have a soft underbelly these
