As others have touched on if this really was a positive and progress it would have been sung from the rooftops. We’d be seeing mock ups of this state of the art new site and details on exactly why it’s such a great thing. Instead the plans get found and then a rushed press release with no details comes out.

Hope Gallagher is ok but that injury was a perfect distraction for Mowbray, the comments about fans and Nyambe was linked in the same article under the headline of Gallaghers injuries so anyone commenting negatively would be seen in a bad light. Personally I think his comments about Nyambe should have been it’s own article such was the nonsense of it

Social media is receiving the news very positively and I have to admit if that statement came out rather than a leak of plans I would be a little less suspicious. The statement refers to selling the land to fund it, I’m assuming we wouldn’t sell the land before constructing the new site so would we be borrowing money in the meantime to build the new site?
