I was out tonight and just caught up on the result, bloody hell that’s a poor do, feel sad for Dolan as the goal would have boosted his confidence followed by a silly mistake. A worrying tweet I saw from Rich Sharpe suggested that Morecambe changed shape and we couldn’t counter it. Amazed that Obafemi has been written off already, especially when the same people likely previously were of the belief we’d get £12 -£15m all in for Armstrong and none of it would be reinvested. On paper this looks superb business, a decent fee for a striker that’s earned a move plus a striker that has the attributes to compliment the style we want to play but there’s no guarantees with any of this that it will work out of course.
