  1. It’s not particularly ‘worth announcing’ out of intent but when discussing a match, in particular one where there is extra discussion about people having to pay extra for, I think it’s worth a mention that as someone who has always had a season ticket that interest in the current product is so low that it never really came under consideration
  2. Finally Douglas is dropped, feel for Dolan, thinks he’ll hardly get any game time now with an almost full contingent of attacking options, wonder if a loan is in the offing? Feels like we haven’t seen much of him or Davenport since they combined for the goal at Brentford
  3. Again I won’t be bothering paying for this, just don’t have the desire for it these days, he’ll probably keep picking Douglas. imagine it will be one of those games where we get outplayed but come out with a late winner, followed by another couple of decent results then a long downward spiral, and repeat
  4. I think the EFL are at fault here but I also think the club should honour what they sold to the fans and provide free, no strings access to the game tonight for those that paid up. I don’t have a season ticket so that’s not a self serving opinion either
  5. Hard not to be utterly frustrated, it feels like the manager doesn’t learn and adapt. He’s quoted today in the Telegraph saying the game went about as he expected, well he’s paid handsomely to alter that in our favour, teams have a right to put up walls, it’s his job to mastermind taking them down! If you expect a game to go a certain way that isn’t positive and you fail to alter the course then as a manager you have failed.

  7. Not followed much but: Stunning, stunning goal Shite result Amazing to have Dack and Ben back Douglas back to Leeds next week please
  8. That goal is on Mowbray, Douglas has been responsible for a goal in every other game recently yet he's still picking him, Ayala shares the blame but it's just awful
  9. That’s fair enough ha ha, I’d probably be more generous myself but I think it’s fair to have questions over his long term impact
  10. I know you aren’t his biggest fan but 4/10 for Dolan? A lad who is probably earning about 7 Freddos a week with 3 goals and a couple of assists already?
  11. Tried a few times but the ‘banter’ makes it hard to enjoy these podcasts, proper forced lad culture bollocks Skipped through some bits and some interesting insight though, Danny Graham similarly recently talked about the drinking culture
  12. Saw that we tweeted out the team early, amazed Douglas keeps his place he’s been woeful; worse than Bell has ever been and consistently too
  13. I don’t know if it’s symptomatic of me, the lack of being able to attend or something else, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I just don’t feel as elated as I feel I should after snatching a win. I feel really guilty about that but I can’t help it, happy we won but I wasn’t bouncing around the room like I once was. I jogged by Ewood today and realised how I miss the place but I’m just not nearly as invested in the season.
  14. I’m ready for the passive aggressive tweets now!
  15. Hugely undeserved but you take what you can Still, I would rather we roll the dice on the manager now
  16. Get in Armstrong passes and Elliott does the business!
  17. Barry Shitpeas is better than Barry Douglas, he’s absolutely abysmal
  18. Commentator chuckles about Mowbray having his head in his hands, that’s his default stance my man, head in hands and rub the face to make it clear that it’s all going wrong out of your control
  19. Glad to hear it, good to see it’s going to get a cleaning, made me miss the place being stood outside it
  20. I jogged past Ewood at lunch, cherry picker and a power washer outside with a couple of blokes surveying the situation
  21. I’ve always liked Bilic, he’d be a real roll of the dice if someone took a gamble. Steady mid table with brief play off flirtations with Mowbray or risk it and try and bring in someone more dynamic who could rock the apple cart!
  22. Pretty sure things get ordered 12-18 months in advance from the east Its a hard call for clubs like ours where there is a limited market for selling shirts, they don’t want to end up with too much left over so I presume use market trends from past seasons to make an estimate
  23. Not surprising, his team seemed to regularly implode and have just the 2 wins.
