Maybe not his fault but he squandered our best chance, Palmer played the right ball to him and we were 3 on 2 and he just dinked it to the keeper
-
I think today was a last chance for Palmer in Mowbrays book and he didn’t take it, his heart or head just isn’t in it.
-
19 or 32, £7m or £100k that was one of the worst cameos I’ve ever seen
-
Palmer was pretty poor when he came on then Brereton came on and made him look like Pele. If we had signed Brereton on a free toy would have had concerns that we paid too much. Without exaggeration every time he got the ball he messed it up today, no strength like a lanky newborn lamb. Abysmal! Result aside a good watch, Bell was much more like the player we saw on his debut and Reed is brilliant. Not a bad result to say we were missing Dack.....what do you mean Dack played?
-
People around me blaming Palmer for things at the other end of the pitch 0-1
-
Brereton been abysmal since he came on like he’s got no power in his legs
-
Really enjoyable game this a proper scrap

I thought Smallwood could have seen red for the tackle but only seen it live, studs looked to be up into the ankle I am at the other end of the ground though

Sunderland Netflix documentary

Enjoying this, beautifully filmed and it’s going to be great watching it unfold. Imagine the documentary was planned to be triumphant with their return to the premier league and ended up being a beautiful disaster and better than the production team could have hoped for -
I’m not sure yet but I haven’t been convinced. The thing is if you had the choice to sign him for £7m or walk away in January I bet 90% of us would look elsewhere

Under 23s 0-2 up at Arsenal, Lyons with two goals the second sounds a beauty

We aren’t - it seems Mani is offering to fund it himself!

Agree about league 1, we had a shaky start last season but if it wasn’t for Shrewsbury having a freak season then us and Wigan would have absolutely strolled it without always playing that well -

Just seen the goals for the first time, that’s possibly one of the worst pieces of goalkeeping I’ve ever seen, where is his head at there? -

Didn’t go today but within a week that’s two games against fancied opposition, first one we were 1-0 against 10 men for 75 minutes and second we were 2-0 and coasting by the sound of it and have come away with 2 points. Ignoring the ‘would have settled for a point at 3pm’ talk that’s pretty poor and shows a weak underbelly for me -

Rodwell turns up in flip flops at some point I believe -
30 million is not going to happen; I imagine he’ll end up going for the magic £17-£18m price like with Phil Jones . Will wish him all the best as well he’s done his job here and earned it when it comes. Of course would prefer to see him in the top flight with us. I still have some caution about his lastability (not with Essex lady) and for him and us it may be a case of striking when the iron is hot.
-
He’s decent enough, not something I’m jumping for joy about as not one there was any real risk of losing I bet

Rovers just tweeted a clip of all Corry Evans goals with us - could be a lead up to a contract announcement

Mahoney will score and kick off 100 pages of debate on here. Then Andy Todd will kick Bishop Dugarry up the arse -
In a selfless and heroic move Bolton’s chairman and owner is going to pay the players wages on Friday, just two weeks late and just in time to stop them being able to cancel contracts

I find it slow and I love it for it, tend to play an hour or so at a time and most occasions I don’t do much to further the story just head out and see what happens
