If we insist on dropping our two best attacking players I wish we would play Rothwell ahead of bloody Conway I know defensive discipline yada yada yada but I think it’s a myth that Conway actually possesses that he’s just that slow he’s often still In our half. Failing that play Nyambe right back and Bennett further forward and clearly the left back spot is just going to be hot potatoed now. Also I think for all concerned Nuttall timed his goals at a bad time, now back out of the squad without the chance of a loan and no backup coming in. Armstrong should cause them problems though and Ben needs to take his chance, hope we get that goal tonight! Still fancy us to win 3-1 Arma, Big Ben and Dack with the goals

Whilst Sam is great at what he sets out to do a lot of the people I used to go with stopped going in that time and didn’t come back. Of course the premier league is where any English club wants to be but it’s grim at times; games sacrificed and waiting for the games where you may nick a win against West Ham etc Then again I actually think the bottom half has got poorer overall with a lot of average teams in there

An interesting one and I hope that line of thinking extends to Nyambe in Mowbrays mind, he didn’t ever warrant losing his place. We really need to be bouncing back with a result here, may be a decent time to make a couple of changes but all of a sudden we don’t look too flush with options.

In fairness a slightly longer than usual blade of grass would manage to block Raya off! I thought he was lucky not to cost us a goal in the first half, weak shot from outside the box that looked to be going wide and he kept it in and parried to their lad.

Chaddy thinks Palmer did nothing of note because he didn’t score or assist but the Bristol fans certainly welcomed his input, he ran the game for a good 5-10 minutes after the goal in a way that Paul Gallagher has done at Ewood before. Dropped deep and kept picking up the ball and keeping it away from us whilst slowing the pace right down. Imagine his manager would be delighted with that.
