Odd half Rotherham doing the job they came to do but could have been leading. Palmer our best player for me always looking to make things happen and Armstrong always willing as well. Graham and Dack have had little of the ball, Dack has looked like tripping himself up at times. Problem now is they will increase the time wasting and the game could come to a nothing 0-0

That’s what he’s good at, his left foot is pretty awful
-
Nearly goal of the season from Arma
-
Palmer is genuinely good in the air it’s a quality in him that we don’t have much of and is overlooked
-
Hope Raya is ok, that’s one hell of a mask he has on, I think I would have been tempted to give him till after the break Just came and claimed one he probably needed that early
-
I like that team although would have loved to see Big Ben get a go
-
Palmer got branded as a show pony early but his work rate has been good recently. Because of his languid style on the ball it’s reslly noticeable when he gives the ball away but I like that he’s always looking to make things happen.

The romantic in me wants to see him back but realistically his chances of making it are getting slimmer

Chapman turned 21 today... Last night he played for Boro under 23s, set up a goal and then pulled up holding his hamstring and was subbed off. Its going to get to the point where the poor lad is scared to sprint
-
Very very little to do One occasion early on he dropped a simple cross but gathered it again and no drama after that, kicking was decent.

I saw Davenport outside the ground at the fanzone today, he literally looks about 13!
-
Good Cameo and some great game management, much more promise seen there
-
Great win, really poor performance for the most part but we will take that Didnt happen for any of our attacking players until Big Ben won us the penalty
-
Yes Big Ben and Dack
-
Dack off for Big Ben for me (incoming Dack goal now)
-
Game crying out for a spark, get Palmer on for Smallwood and get Reed central
-
Palmer drops to the bench - super harsh after a good game last week

. The thing is though it’s said the criticism is a sign of a modern fan but I remember Ferguson, Grabbi and Davies being questioned whilst being supported in the stadium. Even Rhodes who delivered the goods. It may not be down to him but the fact is we’ve paid a good chunk of money for him and rightly there is an expectation to deliver based on that. At least the lad has time on his side and when I asked a Forest supporting mate at work he said he was brilliant and they didn’t want to lose him so there must be something there, feel tomorrow could be the day for him

Not sure on the score but sure that midfielder we were tracking will score if he plays!

An Assessment of Player Performance v West Brom

Course you can people do it all the time such as delaying it whilst defending a corner for example. I doubt he would have got it ahead of Dack anyway but I would have had him on it. -

What’s more odd about the Palmer sub is it was just as we got a free kick in the same position he scored a beauty in the cup. He should have been taking that for me. -
Rothwell looks really dynamic and I like his drive when he gets the ball, problem is it hasn’t quite come off for him yet, does he have any goals or assists in league or cup?

Brill A point would have been good with 11 so it’s superb with 10 and a midfielder in goal -
Mahoney with a cracker today after he’s had a run of games, finally making an impact
