  1. But there would obviously be more staff on a matchday as there’s around 10,000 people around rather than the usual 4-5 at other times and plus the ticket sales are open for other games anyway so that argument is odd
  2. I like the first it would also be interesting to see it like the first but in order of them happening.
  3. Palmer and conway come out of that well, great to see Conway bounce back after the Derby showing
  4. But you’d prefer Butterworth to Palmer (an assist and 3 goals this season) On Rodwell Tony has said he won’t be considering him for the league for a good while yet.
  5. Mowbray has said he won’t be considered for a while for league games even if Mulgrew is out. Seems odd if he did well the other night but Mowbray sees him daily.
  6. I understand at times people saying ‘they had the right to go down’ often there’s a foul, enough to disadvantage the striker and Make them lose the chance but not enough to knock them to the ground, the problem is the ref will hardly ever give the foul if they don’t hit the deck.
  7. Now 3-2 going into 6 mins of injury time Stoke seem to finish a lot stronger than they start
  8. Chapman got 15 for Boro last night, pleased for him getting some game time but selfishly hope he doesn’t impress too much so we can still pick him up cheap in Jan.
  9. Some immediate reactions from that: -The first goal is on Palmer, not a winger and shouldn’t play there again if he can’t do that part of the job. Nearly scored again a bit later from the same side. -Some really sloppy play from Rothwell and Brereton after a great save from Raya - not sure it was a penalty but poor defending from Lenihan -nice to see Rodwell have a bit of a run at them - Cracking goal from Conway - Lovely penalty from Arma but he had 3 good chances he maybe should have done better with, the first one he could have played in Brereton - Williams was idiotic and showed why although he’s done well in the last game or two he isn’t a centre half
  10. I thought we were slightly unfortunate against Villa but that evened out and we were very fortunate not to concede again against Stoke. Not sure if we concede more than average or it’s just always noticeable when you concede in that fashion
  11. Makes the red card totally pointless in hindsight as well! We’ve had better periods of stoppage time
  12. Well that’s Williams suspended as well Rodwell best get stretching
  13. Playing Lenihan was ill judged, need Mulgrew fit for Saturday now!
  14. If by at the match you mean on my sofa then yes Sky sports showing all the action. I have said before I like Palmer but he shouldn’t be playing out wide he just doesn’t have the discipline overall, he’s a luxury and should play in the Dack role when Dack can’t
  15. Great finish that too much time on the edge of the box mind
  16. Big Ben should have scored that! Good work from Palmer and Armstrong in the build up it seems Glad to see Rodwell is playing in midfield
  17. Happy with the balance of main and fringe players but not convinced about the actual balance of that team. I think we’ll sneak it 2-1
  18. Great great win - I’d rather we didn’t do it that way again though
  19. My prediction is still on!
  20. I feel that’s a strong message sent to Conway Would have had Rothwell and Big Ben in today
  21. 1-4, would have been 0-4 but Crouch will score his customary goal against us. Shalom
  22. Looks like Norwich are favouring one up top and using Rhodes from the bench, he’ll score goals alongside someone but one up front seems to be favoured by managers in this league often.
  23. Tricky team selection for the next game, you’d be sure that Conway and Palmer will be out but after a good result on paper he won’t want to make too many more changes. Reed has to start and I’d also drop Armstrong. so out: Palmer, Conway, Armstrong in: Reed, Graham, Bennett That still leaves Brereton and Rothwell on the bench and I’d like to see them both start!
  24. Very good point after a not good at all performance, Nyambe was brilliant though. Armstrong is a big concern for me, not looking capable of affecting games. Also a slight concern that our £6m man is behind him for a place.
