Sadly for me our best ever kit has the worst memorys, 2011-12 is an absolute classic, minimal, perfect blue with red trim. Just unmistakably a Blackburn Rovers shirt. Also 16-17 is similar in its simple beauty! Thinking about it maybe we are best not having nice kits after all!

The article in the Telegraph is concerning, mention that we want to add at least 2 attacking players. Truth is we need 4! A lot of focus on loans when Tony was on record saying he didn’t want that. Really concerning, we could start the season with Conway in line for a starting spot which would be disastrous really.

I presume it’s in the face of people asking if it’s a big money move for Maddison, a loan wouldn’t be as exciting. Or a link to a deal rather than an actual signing. Chapman more likely not to be coming back as well he says. Feel we all need a bit of good news soon!

Chaddy always knows fans of other clubs that watch reserve football to back up his arguments, you have to admire his connections. If Kent does come in I’ll hope for the best he’s obviously got some talent it just sounds like it’s not always used.

Wonder if Ivan Toney or Devante Cole would be considered as the backup striker option, think both are available, id take Toney if the price was right.

Oh I like it - just wish the numbers were same colour as sponsor, navy for both ideally Have a feeling the away kit will tie in the sponsor nicely , it’s never easy on halved shirts but this one goes better than most

Whilst I like the core design of the shirt the colours of the sponsor and the numbering is off for me, can’t marry them up and find it jarring
