Only an hour or two in but golf story is a really charming game
-
He looked pretty knackered towards the end but he is so explosive that it's not surprising; you literally are on the edge your seat when he gets the ball. Special special talent but I may agree that he is best off the bench for the time being. He's a full backs worst nightmare - especially if they are tired and on a booking and he comes on full of beans.

I got a SNES mini but not keen at all, classics in their day but games have moved on a lot and most of the games are hard to enjoy these days

I didn't for a second feel screwed over watching him on Tuesday! Who cares if he's on loan, yes we'd much rather think he was here for the long term but he's a delight to watch.
-
Magic in his boots; decision making still iffy but he sets his sights on goal and things happen

Not tonight....

Reads like a man cracking under pressure to me: "I understand, I’m not stupid, I see that when he comes on he can beat players and create chances, I’m very conscious of people when we’re out there thinking ‘why isn’t Chapman playing?’,” Mowbray said.
-
Seen a few people mention how he's worked on his strength a lot and massively benefitted as a player as a result.
-
I always rated King when he was here his potential was obvious. However I'm sorry I brought the whole thing up now my head hurts after reading the last couple of pages!

I don't need help looking a mug usually - but in this instance the leg up is appreciated

How long is the deal for? I wonder about the actual investment that's gone into it especially considering this: https://twitter.com/ianbiddybaxter/status/911587954816159744

You know I was thinking earlier who would you rather have in league one Joao or Rhodes and when lining up their attributes you would think Joao..... then I remember that Rhodes absolutely mullered this league, he hasn't lost any pace as he never had any and whilst he doesn't have what you would expect he just scored and scored in this league. Fact remains he is above our level, I just hope we can get back to a level where we can argue if Rhodes is good enough for us or not!

Honestly for me it's not an exaggeration when talking football. Play off semi final, penalty shootout, your star striker on £40,000 a week turns to the manager and said he doesn't fancy taking a penalty, they go on to lose the shootout. Thats the kind of moment a striker should thrive on, in football terms it's pure cowardice to me. He seemed fearless here I think his time at Boro clearly not in favour with the manager whilst the fans were desperate for him to play really damaged his confidence. Once he rediscovers that he'll fly again. In human terms though Rhodes still comes across really well on someone that cares about the fans and often seems to make kind gestures to young fans.

Sheffield United come out on top in the steel city Derby. Great goal from Joao in his first appearance of the season but as we saw often makes the wrong decision on the ball. Interesting that he got the nod ahead of Rhodes who looks broken, sad to see he looks like someone that doesn't enjoy football anymore. The Wednesday fans aren't keen on him after his show of cowardice in the play offs. Seems he needs another move lower down the league to a club where he's the main man to reinvigorate him.

Not sure either way, he could be a perfect sub or he could be just as useful from the start. Mahoney always looked handy from the bench but woeful when he started. Earned a chance to start though

The problem would go very deep Boro. As mentioned earlier there is talk that Huddersfield may shut their academy. Our current place on the football totem is a way below them currently like it or not, if 'smaller' teams in the top league start doing that then the burden has to be on the lower leagues to nurture talent (which will then be cherry picked) or the standard of English football just drops and drops further. Sad sad times
-
Apparently Premier League Huddersfield are set to close their academy and will just have an under 18 and under 23 team Presume they will just poach players from us little feeder clubs

3-1 and Grayson sent off for kicking out

HOORAY FOR ME

What's happened to Nuttall he's gone right off the boil
-
Whilst he's in a hot streak you've got to consider giving the lad a chance As said pace and power will make up for a lot in this league and for that alone could be more effective than an immobile Graham
-
Nuttall have any pace? If so throw him a chance against Bradford and Kilgallon!
-
No matter the level knowing how to put the ball in the net is a great skill to have, hope he gets a chance
-
Need to win a couple of league games now or Tony could go into this under a lot of pressure. On the flip side, was the last manager to see us beat them Big Sam? He could really win over any doubters if we put them to the sword

I'll be in disneyworld whilst the tie is played, give em hell!
