Palmers not been good but about the least bad of all the forward players we have out. Picking only two subs will be hard as id want Brereton; Reed and Rothwell on for Armstrong Evans and Palmer. Starting Conway has cost us there

That alone shows why a lot of us doubted the logic in giving Conway another year, horrendous turnout from him. Mowbray got it wrong but fair play he’s tried to right that wrong early; just means we have one less sub to play with

Great covering tackle from Palmer who apparently doesn’t cover Armstrong isn’t an outlet at all so far he needs to up his game. Granted the shape doesn’t help him.

Another 1-1 I think, would be happy not to lose and delighted to win this one! Rothwell and Brereton could be very useful from the bench but it’s imperative we don’t have a sloppy start.

Conway over Brereton or Rothwell is an odd one for me, think he’s been shoe horned in to wear the armband

Great as always. Inteteresting that we came away gutted but on the balance of the game seeing it broken down like that they had probably the better chances. Abraham should have scored at least one.

Armstrong would be a little fortunate to keep his place, he’s been awful the last two games, wouldn’t be adverse to see him given a crack up top though. Rothwell and his energy would be useful I think in this one as well.

They did cut us open at times albeit earlier before the subs, Abraham missed two good chances after nice movement

May be harsh but thought Brereton had a bit of a Gallagher / Derbyshire moment jusy before their goal. Had the ball out wide and ran into danger then failed to win it back.
