  1. The in laws live opposite and I'm not a fan of the outside every time I see it but I am assured it will look great once the wood weathers a bit, apparently they have spent an abolute fortune on it. When I first saw it I presumed they were painting it white in a more nautical theme. I haven't tried it for food but for a cheaper option Bannies at Boundry Mill is great still I think and well priced. AS - yes it's what was the Hordens
  2. Recently had a top meal at the Three Fishes and some great meals at La Scala next to Shajan. Also had a lovely sandwhich in the sun at the Butlers on Sunday. Off to the Golden Lion tomorrow for a mates birthday. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £14 I think.
  3. I feel sorry for him to be fair, to be asked to come on and play not in his best position against the likes of Toure isn't easy.
  4. This lad has talent, that's obvious but we can't risk playing him in midfield in these crucial games whilst his decision making is still suspect. It has cost us a point today and could also do massive damage to the lad as well. I do think he could do a job alongside Benjani up top though.
  5. I actually think Kean was right, better there than in front of a home crowd expecting a win
  6. Couldn't agree more Brian, saying he wasn't ready just seems like another dig at Kean but in reality we don't need to invent reasons to have pops at him.
  7. Yet was still our best player by a distance first half.
  8. He starts today, come on lad, instant hero time.
  9. His English seems great for someone here for 2 months, good lad. Sounds like he's really working to be a success. I do wonder if he'll want to go back to Spain if we go down though as Barca have a buy back clause. Let's hope he can be a success here.
  10. Shame what became of Benni, what a talent though I loved watching him at Rovers, his interviews were amazing as well. His goal against Arsenal remains a highlight of recent years
  11. You can't blame his mum as she has lost a son which nobody should have to go through but I don't agree with her comments, he didn't need protecting if he was taking care of himself and it's wrong to try and look for blame (hopefully not a claim)
  12. I take it Rooney will be punished for foul and abusive language now, pretty clear cut afterall.
  13. Just watched Pans Labrynth, been meaning to watch it for some time and I finally bought the BluRay last week. Very good film I enjoyed it, pretty brutal at times as well.
  14. These are some celebrations, and some achievement for this keeper reaching 100 career goals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OjvQWRAOkc
  15. Watched Freddy vs Jason last night, what a masterpiece! But seriously it is what it is and does a decent job of being a corny throwback horror.
  16. Moon is the kind of film I usually like but I don't enjoy films with Sam Rockwell, something I just find somehow off-putting irregardless of his acting prowess.
  17. Scored again for the reserves tonight He also sounds quite involved: Nice from Rochina, flicking the ball over the onrushing marker, then runs whilst keeping the ball up with his knee, but his flick over for Formica finds his fellow forward a yard offside.
  18. That's what I was saying Theno, people trying to put blame where there isn't any, hope it's not due to somebody being after a payout from Stoke.
  19. Have you seen the worst song in history? It's going viral at the minute, how can it not be a hit with such great lyrics as: FUN FUN FUN FUN Kickin’ in the front seat Sittin’ in the back seat Gotta make my mind up Which seat can I take? and Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’) We-we-we so excited We so excited We gonna have a ball today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0
  20. Urgh this sounds like such a needless waste of a young life. I think its fair to say the policing and stewarding could possibly have been better but wrong that the lawyer seems to be trying to put some blame on Stoke for the bin not being fastened down. These aren't nursery children we are talking about here there is such a thing as personal responsibility or does that no longer exist.
  21. Good luck to Eric Abidal who is having an operation for a tumour on his liver. Hope he's ok.
  22. I'd say Rec is the best horror in years definitely worth a watch as is the Descent.
  23. I had but not in my adult life so I thought it was about time I watched them all in order, predator 1 and 2 next.
  24. Watched Memento for the first time last night, very good film don't know how I missed it until now. Felt the ending was a little underwhelming though Also you guys give M Night too much credit, I think for most of his films he thinks of a twiiist and then wraps a bad plot around it. Although as I said Devil was Ok as a saturday night popcorn flick. I've also been watching the Alien series for the first time over the last couple of weeks, doing a backlog of classics I may have missed
