  1. My view on a few things: Dolan - would defo keep him if we could but he’s gone Hedges - let him go Weimann - review injury maybe keep on a low base salary if possible Batth - try and get renewed Forshaw - no real view, if super cheap maybe keep around as a last option Pears - consider offers if received Buckley / JRC - accept any offer Gueye - I expect him to move on, his usefulness is proven on his day but his day isn’t often enough and seems less so under VI and I could see us breaking even Could also see us having to fend off interest for Travis, Brittain and Sonny and by fend off interest I mean have the used car salesman bug them up with the press and agents I expect a mass exodus at youth levels as well
  2. Worrying for the lad, from being here, his home town team to those injuries then being released and picked up by Barrow and injured and released again He’ll do well to get a football league contract but feel he needs a solid season staying fit to prove himself, could see him in the Scottish lower leagues maybe
  3. Tranmere at home 2-2 I’d guess 1990 when I was 6, first away game was also Tranmere away a few months later which I think was 0-0 Remember the ‘yellows’ chants and talking to Bobby Mimms in the warm up
  4. An impressive first season for me, decent goal return and has a nice knack of being where he needs to be
  5. Watching on Saturday I was reminded of the last time we had a shot at the playoffs and Pears gave Millwall two goals, we overcame but ultimately fell short overall but in contrast Toth looked assured. Reckon he would have done better than Dennis with the header as well!
  6. Didn’t we once give Gladwin a contract when he was injured just because we wanted to be nice to him (or his agent)
  7. I was spot on (just forgot to post) Amazing how wrong most were about the relegation places
  8. Ultimately came up short of what he had to this season, when Eustace effectively left we were a point inside the play offs but missed out by a couple. I would say I think January killed us though and I’d wager (without facts backing it up) that his return isn’t too dissimilar to the points haul from Eustaces towards the end of his reign. The owners and powers that be just cut the legs from under the team at every opportunity and bar a fluke no manager will be able to truly succeed Stick with him, the alternative is another random roll of the dice
  9. Fine margins all season really, that awful run under Ismael, losing at the likes of Plymouth under Eustace, January killing us again
  10. Just gave us too much to do, fell at the final hurdle Sadly the subs we called on today were awful
  11. Dennis has to score that was the chance
  12. And the last managers appalling end
  13. To be fair he didn’t give them a penalty when he could, sadly they scored in the same attack!
  14. Commentators speculating we may have a chance because we are shit and Sheffield United may decide to throw it so they can play us again
  15. Not that it matters but Burnley winning the league is annoying
  16. We look like losing this now; on the ropes
  17. We had a nice few minutes at least
  18. Silly from Travis just knock that out there
  19. Probably good that he didn’t see that
  20. YUUUUUKKKKIII Looooooooong way to go loooooooooooong way
  21. Yeah bit boring that, Leeds messing up would be funny if it wasn’t Burnley who profit from it
  22. Decent half that, I would have taken it at half time we will just need a goal as it stands
