People will say it was a terrible move for him to go to Spurs but he probably quadrupled his salary and played as many championship games last season and may do this season as if he stayed in teams around where we were. I’ve never been convinced at all by Benson but it’s due to the evidence I’ve witnessed in the progression of keepers here rather than his history. It can be a factor but previous accomplishments in the field aren’t the only thing to being a good coach.
