I count myself in the told you so’ers now but his performance last night in the second half was beyond what I’d expect, I fancied him being a really good battering ram type player similar to when Keenan Davis was on loan in this league and would bully us. Last night he looked a compete striker, goals, hold up, flicks and tricks, he won’t be able to maintain that kind of performance but he’s shown enough for us to know he has the ability

I’d rather we stay grounded - it’s a Eustace team that’s got the win with the work he’s put in, he’s the best bet we had I think. Plus we all know the reason he’s going isn’t the team he’s got it’s knowing he is doing an impossible job longer term.
