I know he amounted to nothing due to injuries amongst other things but I remember when Harry Chapman first came on loan there was excitement when he got the ball, he’d run at people and try and make something happen. This lad is like that, although I was worried at the way he ran on against QPR that his hamstring was about to explode due to his awkward looking running style and pace!

A shame as there’s talent there and as above either way to get to this scenario is chronic mismanagement, we’ll likely have paid up the bulk of what he’d have got if he was here.

Kargbo in for Hedges and if fit Dennis in for Weimann, maybe Woodrow if not. Hopefully their recent form gives them a bit of confidence to attack and we can exploit the gaps.

I will say with Gueye I have doubts on if he’ll be here next year, not because we will be fighting off suitors that we can’t refuse but I worry about him settling longer term. Theres been a few things written about his family not living over here and him finding that a bit tough, I could see him moving again. Hope not of course
