But he should have been sent off and was, we appealed the length of the ban and failed there too Bucko at fault - move on! Inconsistency is rife, it’s petty to dwell on decisions though, you also don’t like VAR so it’s something you just need to accept I see we’ve now tweeted again ‘how to tackle v how not to tackle’ showing Garretts tackle vs the one on him (no mention of his booking), it’s just weird, if we have an issue it should be taken up via the proper channels not like a moany teenager on twitter looking for likes -

Can’t be doing with all the ‘WADMIN’ stuff maybe I’m just old! -
Decent goal from our mate Amari’i Bell today, not sure what position he’s been playing but he’s done well there, fans seem to rate him, pleased for the lad, limited full back with some decent attacking potential and always put a shift in

He’s not as good as I want him to be or think he could be but he’s a competent middling championship player he’s not awful in my opinion -

He should bury that every day but he’s nowhere near as bad as you want to believe -

Pitch looks very heavy someone just won a defensive header and the ball didn’t bounce just landed then rolled Just makes the defensive risks all the more dangerous -

Garrett needs to realise that simply jumping in all the time isn’t what’s needed -
Yep I remember the ball gently rolling down the slope away from the pitch One of the most frustrating was the beautiful Sebastian Perez getting sent off for being attacked by Graeme Le Saux

Next season will be an interesting test for the dingles, does anyone come in for Kompany and if not can he keep them up. Cant say it wouldn’t be a nice problem to have mind!

As I said the other day, sadly for anyone not you lot and Sheff United it’s all wrapped up for the top 2 now and not even January!

Not surprised the appeal was rejected, technically a red however soft you think it is. For me the worst (if probably irrelevant) decision the ref made last night was blowing for full time exactly on 96 minutes after a sub taking up extra time plus a free kick and a corner that took a minute each with the ref motioning that he was stopping his watch -
Two that spring to mind for me are Tugay against Boro, 2 moronic first half yellows including the worlds most pointless handball in their half. Also the lad against Norwich who randomly kicked one of theirs off the pitch, I want to say it was Jay Bothroyd

I was hoping you’d post about the incident, I was waiting for an educated view on it. As expected, from a refereeing perspective it’s a red card, silly silly Buckley Not sure how you can say the subs were right when they had no positive impact on the flow of the game nor the outcome, you’d have much more evidence to say he didn’t get his subs right as we were losing and he failed to alter the course. Oh and as above from a qualified and experienced referee, blame Buckley for giving the ref the decision to have to make. -

I’ll be honest I’ve zoned out, however I’d be just as confident we wouldn’t be getting back in it even if the numbers were reversed -

Petulant actions like that have been red cards for at least 20 years, I remember Danny Mills getting a red at Highbury for Leeds for passing a ball against a player on the deck, Beckham v Argentina etc -

Fact is it’s more on Buckley than the referee, the actions of one of those is under our control and it’s not the referee I think it was soft but idiotic from Buckley -

Would love to see a replay as Boro were obviously confident in the belief it was offside but it seemed so easy
