  1. Home against a bottom 3 side, in the transfer window, perfect time for Leonard to be starting and to take his chance, Gueye to be introduced from the bench. Main decision for me would be who plays with Tronstad - and it wouldn’t be Buckley if I was picking. 3-0 with goals from Leonard, Cantwell and ACDC Wouldn’t a routine home win be lovely
  2. Could be something in Sean Longstaff, Everton linked with him for around £20m I think if we position it right we could go for a double swoop and get Isak at the same time for £1.2m (paid over 17 years), maybe offer them Jack Vale and Garrett on loan in return
  3. Whoever is handling the outgoing loans doesn’t seem to be doing a very good job securing the right moves, or we’ve just got a bit of a lull in the talent we have in this batch.
  4. Yes he’d be decent in Italy. Not Serie A, maybe not Serie B but he’d be decent somewhere in Italy
  5. I’m old friends with the guy who arranged the sponsorship, big rovers fan that moved out to America a couple of decades ago, he came over with a client (Harold Varner) and they definitely seemed to enjoy their day and didn’t see any complaints made to be fair
  6. This presenter is so condescending to Plymouth, making out they are a non league side
  7. Home tie vs Wolves That’s winnable with a decent wind
  8. Raya not close to any of the penalties there
  9. Tamworth robbed of a replay - absolute nonsense
  10. Come on be fair, these guys play too many games and they have to keep themselves fresh for the tour of the far east the day after the season finishes
  11. This was the team we faced that day, and we weren’t out of our league, don’t let anyone fool you about our ‘true position’ etc Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Makelele (Mikel 81), Lampard, Shevchenko (Kalou 63), Drogba, Joe Cole (Wright-Phillips 97). Subs Not Used: Cudicini, Boulahrouz.
  12. In the hat! Out of the clubs defo through Exeter at home please. Not too many upsets today sadly.
  13. Seen the highlights and that’s a good reaction save from Toth, expect him to make it but good for him to get a clean sheet. Two poor misses from Leonard, the first you can excuse a bit as it’s nice technique but from there you have to score, the second is just poor. Decent shout for a penalty but I agree with Gallacher in that he’s never in control of the ball and looking for it, there is contact though so you couldn’t complain too much if given. Andi’s was slightly tougher than the radio commentary made out but again you have to score, think the ball being gone just about saves the keeper from conceding a penalty. Really good finish for his goal.
  14. No worries Rev, just think it’s a rabbit hole we leave there and if people want to go down it take it to the We Did Warn You section
  15. Right let’s leave that there. FA Cup and all that jazz?
  16. One thing I will say in defense of the Forshaw signing, lots of clubs will bring in players like him to boost the numbers, it’s about who else we bring in. Look at Ashley Barnes at Burnley; similar kind of scenario but they will back the manager with other signings
  17. I didn’t realise till Andy Bayes mentioned it but O’Grady-Macken is the nephew of John Macken Links to Paul O’Grady yet to be established
  18. Best way is to come off twitter - I found it better for me at least barring that just block idiots like that
  19. Thought we got as bad a draw as possible so superb to get through to the next round with no injuries or drama Gueye used how he should be there but we still clearly need a new main man
  20. I’m guessing it would have been more chaotic, probably volley from one foot to the other then who knows. Its the Gueye lottery!
  21. We can all agree that Gueye wouldn’t have hit the bar from there yes? No further comment
  22. Anyone know if Leonard hit the bar? I have a feeling he did
  23. Andy Bayes and Gallagher very critical so far, particularly of Leonard but said the entire attack line just not doing anything
  24. Like others I’m fine with Sanderson although a loan with a deal would have made more sense in case it works out well The other lad I’m more worried about but the main concern is the intent it’s signalling, really hope this is a case of a couple of essential bits of sticking tape whilst the main priorities are still possible
  25. Forshaw would be decent, a decade ago
