Finally - what took them so long? https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/june/17/season-ticket-loyalty-scheme-extended/ the article mentions the system being updated and there is reference to ‘Timelapse issues’ but not sure where we stand as our seats got taken since they were released, I wonder if this means we have a window to steal them back Part of the wording sounds like any bought this week will be null and void and need to buy again

The decision to appoint Broughton could be his saving grace and a master stroke if this goes well. Reading between the lines we weren’t close to a head coach appointment and it was Broughton that got it done.

Now would be the perfect time to announce a reduction along with an open training session at Ewood / family day in the first week of school holidays and blitz it with promo material The iron is hot, time to strike

Yeah he’s not worth spending too much energy on, full of self importance and very elitist Let’s move on

I am a bit myself but like I said one of my main drivers to renew was to keep my seat, as that’s gone now I ain’t paying more for a worse seat
-
We’ll definitely see a push at some point today and it’s the most obvious thing in the world to at least freeze prices But we’ll see

Got to be honest - had this appointment been made Friday I’d likely have approved As it is though the deadline passed and my old seats have gone Win some, lose some

Seems a (nearly) universally well received appointment, we’ve shown a little bit of creativity at the very least and not appointed a stale journeyman or an agents pet project Really hope it works out for us all and you feel it has the potential to -
Welcome aboard Jon https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/june/14/velkommen-jon-/ He’s also brought in an assistant manager and performance director

Whilst this was an obviously flippant post earlier the more I think about it I’m pissed off. You can have all the slogans like “one of our own” all you like, there is no heart at the Centre of this club, there’s no pride in what was built and what remains. We need change, at minimum we need someone like Duncan to have a seat at the table and someone around that table who can do more than “take it away and look into it”

In fairness the club are doing all they can. I just followed a bus up Livesey branch road, the back of it covered in an advert for ‘Our Rovers’ Season Tickets I mean sure it was for 2019 / 2020 season tickets with those prices advertised but we can’t expect them to put the effort in every single year…

True I think some people never got requested refunds for the Covid cancellations!

I’ll take BBE upper tier

Meh it’s ok for a plain blue training top -
I just need to know who the hero is going to be counting the dots! And if you condensed everyone from the riverside would they fill the end two blocks?
-
Now that would be a smart move, however it’s probably more likely they see this as a way to sell more at the inflated prices

The test of loyalty deadline came and went for us, my dad has gone for a European railcard instead so will spend more time travelling the continent whilst the eldest and I, not being ‘one of our own’ will find something else to do on a Saturday it seems
-
It’s ridiculously short sighted, in our case 3 season tickets across 3 generations likely now not renewed, the seats we had are plum seats so will get snapped up but ultimately it’s more people lost who may get out of the habit and who knows when will return
-
Interesting that the loyalty window was 51 days, less than 2 pay packets Meanwhile Mowbray confirmed he was leaving around the same time and still no manager in place….
-
I know other clubs do it but what’s the actual justification for the Waggott Tax additional £30? Is it purely a ‘not loyal enough’ punishment?
