I think Thomas-Asante should be the one we are going for, if nothing else let’s get as many double barreled names in the team we can. Cozier-Durberry O’Grady-Macken Rankin-Costello Murphy-Worrall I just feel you need more to build a proper squad!

Tracking our (outbound) loan players 24/25

Subbed off at half time hope he’s not hurt -
0-0 - the true winner is myself, as I didn’t watch a minute of it. Burnley do know how not to concede.

Pears isn’t a great keeper but it would be pointless selling him now unless there is really a silly offer; he’s no longer one of our biggest weaknesses which shows he’s come a long way.

They are one of the worst though, didn’t they fly to Australia or similar for a tour the day after the season finished? Jokers

Reminded me of Tim Flowers (hard to criticise by comparing to a legendary keeper) he often went for free kicks with his arms somehow invisible -
Whilst I wouldn’t be shocked and I wouldn’t blame him part of me thinks (unpopular opinion time) that he knew what he was getting into. All you have to do is look at recent history, and I know people always think they can tame a bad boy and this time it will be different, it never is. In a way I envy him, he can escape this, and he can do it with his head held high, we are destined to live in this hell cycle until someone somehow shows us some mercy. 13 years ago I was naive enough to think my words could help if I got chance to speak with the owners, part of the fans forum and never missed a home game, now I’m a lapsed season ticket holder who feels detached from the club my family has always loved but still feel the pain of our decline.

Got to say it’s really poor from Pears that free kick, there’s no way he should be beat that easily -
Annoyingly Burnley will have chance to go top against Leeds Sheff United battering Hull but 2-0 down

Once again unleaded beats the local press to the punch

Reckon Burnley may win tonight, 5-0 up at half time

Lad seems more bothered about his podcast though than reporting on us on anything a millimetre below the surface or handed to him

More likely they did their homework on Pears and the tactic still paid off -
He deserves dropping. I’d be all for it to send a message, problem being who comes in?

He’s never been one to bite the hand that feeds him either. ‘Get Real’ sticks in the memory -
The thing is we didn’t ’lose’ a player that scored 33 goals - we sold him, that happens in football, the difference is usually the clubs will reinvest to replace. I feel for Eustace but as a club it’s a problem of our own making from the top brass

Whilst Eustace is currently working minor miracles it stings to lose to the managerial powerhouses of Rooney and Lampard this season, both with rank average teams who didn’t have to do too much to get the wins. -

I’d say a poll of anyone that watched would very strongly come to the same conclusion -

The worrying thing is we had Litherland, Edmondson and O’Grady-Macken on the bench tonight and then had 2-3 more injuries. We are properly down to bare bones here and having to play the likes of Buckley and JRC and can’t drop chronic under performers because we have nobody. If I was Eustace I’d be hammering on Waggots door tomorrow with a back me or I leave ultimatum, he’ll be fine out of this either way -

Played well until they scored, pretty awful second half but agree we really shouldn’t be losing that. Gueye was by a long way our best player but as Roversfan99 will point out he didn’t stick it in the onion bag. A truly frustrating evening -

Right fuck off now Todd you lazy tit, they pass it straight to us and he does some daft-twat flick instead of just taking a touch and passing it -

I hate when it gets like this but I feel I am starting to actively dislike Cantwell, every pass is so lazy
