Hope Eustace gets the new keeper in after the international break. Pears just isn’t up to it, didn’t have much to do today but still managed to look dodgy, for the goal he was heading across his goal so it’s difficult but still a bit disappointing but then the shocking pass right down the middle and the random coming from his goal to claim a ball that was never his stood out. He then seemed scared to come for anything till late in the game where he had his one standout moment when he was decisive and came for a good punch. Both he and his opposite number got lucky today with errors

Superb point, finally something to celebrate in one of these games with that goal as well Would have taken 1-1 this morning, would have definitely taken it after 10 mins, would have taken it at half time and definitely would have after an hour! Resilience and fight shown in the end. Cant see Parker seeing the season out, home against 10 men for 40 minutes or so and not any sustained pressure. By the rules Gueye’s red is warranted (although I guarantee at least one other player would have broke those same rules in the match) but the referee was absolutely abysmal, there has to be some accountability
