Well at least he did head it into the ground
-
I’m not a scout but I thought I saw something the first few games, in fact not rewriting history he was clumsy and awkward but WAS effective in those games, seemingly at this point more fluke than anything but still…

Fucking hell just seen we are only 4 points off the bottom 3, we are heading that way for sure -

We are clueless, when their lad won the ball then it was literally inevitable that one of ours was going to bring him down and waste time -
I can’t defend that, my argument was get it on his head and let’s see, he couldn’t have asked for a better chance and fluffed it

Crap penalty and it goes in, sums this up. I’ve defended Gueye but it was a sitter and just like Ohashi falling under no pressure then they score we concede just after Sadly the writing now looks on the wall with Gueye, another Telalovic that will be gone in January Now Leanord misses an equally easy chance -

They’ve got one of those match winning goalies capable of having a Friedel now and then, been a while since we’ve enjoyed that luxury -

Think we’ve played pretty well, Cantwell the obvious standout but Ohashi looking lively as well -

Utterly dominated here, bet they’ve had 10 shots on target to our 0 -

‘Let him know you are there son’ FFS not like that! -
I think he’s decent and will come good, some of his flicks ons and hold up play has been really good, his passing terrible and finishing yet to be proven by a long shot but I think there’s glimpses there
-
A bit flat but a solid point. You’d take that and move on
-
Not a single cross into the box since we brought a target man on

Pears is a calamity
-
It’s a penalty more often than not. We’ve got away with that

Young keepers going to Atherron Colleries and City of Liverpool FC which appears to be 4 levels below league 2, is this the best we can do? Is the idea they just play football anywhere? It can’t be much higher level than sending them down Pleasington? -
Think I saw this lad playing for St Bede’s recently whilst waiting for my daughter coming out of dancing

Never rated Pears too highly but it sounds like he’s keeping this somewhat respectable
