Amazed that Obafemi has been written off already, especially when the same people likely previously were of the belief we’d get £12 -£15m all in for Armstrong and none of it would be reinvested. On paper this looks superb business, a decent fee for a striker that’s earned a move plus a striker that has the attributes to compliment the style we want to play but there’s no guarantees with any of this that it will work out of course.

He was brilliant first half, far and away the best I’ve seen him. Comfortably the worst player on the pitch second half, losing the ball cost us the goal and then continued to give it away before being booked and coming off. The first half shows what he can do though and proves there really is a player there.

By the way Rothwell was 100% going for goal, if he wanted to pass he had a simple square ball

Beautiful, a real game for the fans to enjoy, a bit of an atmosphere even at times We had 30% possession but I’m amazed we didn’t score 5, xG through the roof The second half was played like we had 10 men but Swansea were abysmal truth be told. A bit of time wasting but the only other thing of note in time added on was us missing a glorious chance Buckley provided the worlds greatest first half performance then played the second with an arrogance and failed to make a single pass Great to be back
